I decided to be alone with my thoughts for a while because I didn't want to bother or distract Ivo. "Is it ok if I play on my phone?" I asked

He didn't say anything but I could see him nod from where I was sitting.

I mindlessly scrolled through the same 3 apps for the whole duration of the trip.

There was a small local air strip a few minutes outside of a San Francisco where agent stone stood. "He's here already?" I said in amazement

"My agents work quickly, my love" Ivo said landing the plane.

The glass lid over us popped open and Ivo stood first and stretched. He turned back to be and unbuckled my seat belt and took off my helmet. "Was that fun?" He asked

I shook my head making him laugh loudly. "Well at least were done now"

Ivo helped me out of the plane and his agents grabbed my belongings and put them in the black van. "Where are we staying?" I asked

"The Fairmont in Ghirardelli Square" agent stone replied

I pulled my phone out and looked it up not wanting to sound dumb for asking

My eyes widened, a 5 star hotel for 800 a night. I think Ivo caught on because he rubbed my shoulder "its ok baby" he chuckled.

My face flushed, why did he always have to spend so much on me?

"Well I have to get to work" Ivo spoke again. I nodded, I can't get mad he did take me with him and I'm so grateful for that.

I leaned over and hugged him, he was cold due to his flight suit.

"I love you" he said and kissed the top of my head as we hugged

"I love you too" I looked up at him

He smiled "my girl"

Our moment was interrupted by stone clearing his throat "doctor" he said.

I could see the light dim in his eyes as he let me go.

"Yes, yes, I'll see you later" he said

"See you later" I said and Ivo and I went out separate ways.

After we checked into the hotel and all of my stuff was on the room some of the other agents showed me around the city.

We saw probably a week's worth of things in just an afternoon and everything was going great until I was accidentally knocked over.

"Oh I'm so sorry" I woman said helping me up. I looked up at her, it was Maddie from Greenville! Standing next to her was Tom holding a packed looking duffle bag.

"Oh my God (y/n)? what are you doing here?" Maddie pulled me into a quick hug and I hugged back

"Oh me and my husband are here for his work" I said laughing a big

"You got married?" Tom said

I nodded "yeah I didn't think it would ever happen" I joked

Tom laughed "yeah neither did I, you rejected every guy who confessed their love to you"

I nodded "yeah it wasn't easy being town sweetheart... So what are you guys up to?"

"We have to get to the top of that building" Maddie motioned upwards at the Transamerica Pyramid building.

"Can I come with?" I asked Maddie looked at Tom and Tom nodded

"Sure!" Maddie said

I looked back at the 2 agents I was with "I'm gonna go hang with my friend you guys can leave" the agents nodded and walked off
