Hey there, my name is Karlson and you probably want to know how I got into coding so I wanted to make games so I went on YouTube and searched "How To Make Games" and these are what channels mostly came up:
Brackeys,
Tech With Tim,
Code With Chris,
Coding With Russ.
Yeah I know exactly what you are thinking: What channel did I go to first; well I went to Brackeys and I went through these videos:
How To Make A Video Game - Getting Started,
How To Make A Video Game in Unity - Basics (E01),
How To Make A Video Game in Unity - Programming (E02),
How To Make A Video Game in Unity - Movement (E03),
How To Make A Video Game in Unity - Camera Follow (E04),
How To Make A Video Game in Unity - Collision (E05),
Gameplay - How To Make A Video Game in Unity (E06),
Score & UI - How To Make A Video Game in Unity (E07),
Game Over - How To Make A Video Game in Unity (E08),
Winning Levels - How To Make A Video Game in Unity (E09),
Finishing Up - How To Make A Video Game in Unity (E10),
Yeah, 10 videos just for learning the Unity game engine, you might think it's a lot but no it's not in those you only make like a 'Don't Hit The Blocks Game' with the C#/C Sharp programming language. C# is the 4th most popular language with 18,000 jobs that you can get. Then I went to the Tech With Tim channel and found Python, C++, JavaScript and some others but I got interested in Python which is the most popular coding language and has 120,000 jobs you can get and is the easiest programming language to learn and write code in. So I searched "Tech With Tim Python" and this is what came up in order:
The Complete Python Course For Beginners
Mastering Python - Everything You Need To Know To Become A Python Master,
Python As Fast As Possible - Learn Python In ~75 Minutes,
5 Python Projects For Beginners,
Python Beginner Project Tutorial #1 - Your First Python Project,
Python Beginner Project Tutorial #2 - Mastering The Basics,
Python Beginner Project Tutorial #3 - Applying Your Skills,

Now I Watched 'Python As Fast As Possible - Learn Python In ~75 Minutes' as the first thing and it was good, it taught me a lot of things.
Here's a list of all the things it taught me in order:

Variables And Data Types,
Basic Operators And Input,
Conditions ,
If-Elif-Else,
Chained Conditionals And Nested Statements,
For Loops,
While Loops,
Lists And Tuples,
Iteration By Item,
String Methods,
Slice Operator,
Functions,
How To Read A Text File,
Writing To A Text File,
Using .Count() And .find(),
Introduction To Modular Programming,
Optional Parameters,
Try And Except (Error Handling),
Global Vs Local Variables,
Introduction To Objects,
Creating Classes,
Inheritance,
Overloading Methods,
Static Methods And Class Methods,
Private And Public Classes,
Optional Parameters,
Static And Class Methods,
Map Function,
Filter Function,
Lambda Function,
Introduction To Collections,
Named Tuple,
Deque,
Overview Of Python,
Dunder/Magic Methods,
Metaclasses,
Decorators,
Generators,
Context Mangers

That was a long list. Wasn't it? Yeah I thought so too and I watched each part 3 times which meant I used 18 maybe 19 or 20 hours (probably 19 hours because the video is 6 hours 21 minutes and 13 seconds long) just on that but now I probably can do some freelance coding to get some money. So I did that and worked really hard but I only got like £19.78 from 7 projects and each one took me about 15 hours. I wasn't happy until I watched 'Mastering Python - Everything You Need To Know To Become A Python Master'
and it really did help me and said to do these in order:
Try to remember syntax highlighting
Look on YouTube for some advanced Python projects
Than do some freelance coding

That was really really really helpful because after doing 10 advanced Python projects I made a lot of money and I mean a lot, I made £743.67 from 4 projects and each one took me about a day to make. So it was worth it. Wasn't it? Yeah, I thought so as well.
