As Austin and I left the room we accidentally ran right into his mother, Dave, and his manager.

“What the hell you two?” Rocco said staring at us with anger in his eyes.

“What?” Austin shrugged, the smile melting from his face.

“You go on in 45 minutes! We couldn’t find either of you anywhere.” His mother yelled. I gulped, hating when his mother would yell at us. It didn’t bother Austin obviously but it really made me squirm.

“Ok, chill. We just wanted some alone time.”

They all sighed and looked at one another. The looks in their eyes made me worried and my heart felt as if it was going to beat out of my chest.

I wanted nothing more than Austin to grab my hand and take me away.

“After the show we all need to have a really serious talk, got it you two?”

Austin rolled his eyes as I shook my head up and down fast.

“Let’s go, Ambs.” He said pushing past Dave to get to his other dressing room. He opened the door and let me walk in front of him but then yelled at the other three. “I believe I said Amber, not you guys.” And he slammed the door.

“Austin,” I said gently as I massaged his shoulders from behind, “please clam down. Why are so angry?”

“Because I know what they’re gunna do. They’re going to lecture us and we don’t need it.”

“They just want to make sure we don’t get into anything bad.” I replied. I wasn’t looking forward to this conversation either but I just needed to make him relax.

He looked down with anger in his eyes but reached up and put his hand over mine. “Don’t worry about it, alright? I won’t let anything bad happen to us.”

My heart broke into a million pieces. There is no us. He means he won’t let anything happen to the sex.

“I know. Go ahead and get ready.” I said quickly as I exited the room and bolted towards the bathroom.

I can’t let him see me cry.
