Lydia's family has come a long way. Her mother is Juniper Middleberry-Brown. Her father is Seth Brown. Juniper was in the 76th Hunger Games, and won. She was 18 at the time. She has 4 aunts; Ivy, Holly, Willow, and Olive. In the 76th games, Juniper had volunteered for Holly. That was a good choice, because Holly wouldn't have lasted a minute. She also has a grandmother, Amber Middleberry. She is Juniper's mother.
Lydia was named after the brave Lydia Ferro. Lydia Ferro was in the final 2 with Juniper. She and Juniper were about to pull the Katniss and Peeta trick, by eating the berries, but Lydia gave her life, and Juniper won. Lydia's brother Jack Jr, was named after Juniper's lover and fellow friend in the games, Jack Smith, who died in the games. He was killed by a career.
Lydia's family is complicated, but Lydia is now 12. She is finally eligible for the reapings. She has been trained by her mother to learn throwing knifes, and how to survive. Jack has too. He is 22 now. He missed the reapings. Jack and Lydia had a large age difference. Jack was born 3 years after Juniper was in the games, and Lydia was born 13 years after her games. That mean't that she was 12 now.
