4. Human Interaction

Izuku's pov

"Izuku, Wake up" someone called from my side. I shot up and looked around. I was in the grey and mint room that my parents gave me. I looked towards the voice and saw Shota standing in the door "h-hi S-S-Shota" I waved shyly. "there are some clothes on your dresser, we're going to the mall" Shota announced. I nodded and began to put on the clothes. I didn't realise that Shota hadn't left and he had seen my legs. I covered myself with the pants and looked down. Shota stayed emotionless and walked away. I let out a huge sigh and quickly finished getting dressed. I walked to the bathroom and stared into the mirror at my dead eyes and scarred face. I pulled the hoodie over my head and tried to cover it. I walked back to my room and grabbed

I sighed and walked to the front room where Shota and Hizashi were waiting. "we're going to a café for breakfast" Hizashi stated before walking to the door "I'll be down to you two in a second" Shota patted Ashi's hair and pointed to the door. I quickly Teleported to Hizashi's side. When he saw me, he jumped "how'd you get there listener?" He asked in shock "I c-can T-T-Teleport remember?" I looked at him while he sighed. "please don't scare me like that again" He begged jokingly. He dropped to his knees and began to fake cry "IT SCARE ME SO MUCH!" He shouted. I chuckled and smiled lightly "You're adorable when you smile" He smiled while standing up. Shota showed up a second later with a scowl until he saw my smile. "let's get going, we need to get to the café before the rush happens" Shota unlocked the car and we all got in.

I tried to tie the seatbelt but it was weird. I tried a few more times before Shota came back to help "t-thank you" I said softly "No problemo" He pet Ashi and went back to the driver's seat "are you okay with going to the mall Izu?" Hizashi asked 'I might as well try to be normal' I thought to myself "I-I-I'll try" I replied quietly. I was still getting used to using my voice and having freedom. Hizashi and Shota looked at each other and slowly nodded. Hizashi put on some weird sounds and Shota complained about it.

We pulled up outside a building with a cup on the side and the words 'Hero Café' on the side. "come on Listener" Hizashi said from outside the car. I unlocked the belt and opened the door. The two men walked into the building and I followed quickly "Hello Mr Mic, Mr eraser, Your table is open" A blonde lady said from the counter. They walked to a booth and I tried to follow "sorry kid, only heroes allowed in here" A big man blocked me. I tried to get past him but he eventually got mad "Leave before I throw your sorry ass to the curb" He threatened me by pushing out his chest.

I jumped in response and instinctually teleported. I ended up beside Hizashi and Shota "where were you kid?" Shota asked. I quivered as the big man noticed me "sorry sirs, another fanboy. I'll get him out of here asap" He went to grab me "no it's alright" Shota blocked him "Sir its policy that only heroes and their immediate family are allowed" He grabbed onto my wrist and began to drag me. Shota shot to his feet and shoved the big guy off me "GO GET YUA NOW!" He shouted while using his quirk "yes sir" The man ran away. "Izuku are you okay?" Shota asked

I grabbed onto Shota's leg and began to cry. He picked Ashi off the floor and placed him on my head "Stay with Hizashi, I need to do something" He winked and handed me to Hizashi. They were both careful not to touch me, much to my pleasure. "Is your wrist alright?" He asked. I looked down and saw them bleeding lightly. "N-n-nothing b-b-bad" I replied while Hugging Ashi. We sat in silence for a few minutes till Shota came out with a lady and the big man

"Your last check will be mailed to you, Now fuck off" The lady yelled at the man. I hid behind Hizashi while the man and Lady argued "Get out, NOW" Shota shouted, gaining everyone's attention. The man scoffed and walked out the door. "Now, let's see this cutie!" The lady chirped while she and Shota walked to us "you okay Izuku?" Shota asked "I'm fine, dad" I instantly began to blush and hide my face. 'I've known him for two days, he's not my dad' I thought to myself "don't be embarrassed, I've sure Hizashi calls him something similar" The lady winked at me as they sat down

"Sorry about Suzuki, He's a big meanie" She apologised with a small pout "i-i-it-it's fine, I-i-i-" "he's not the best with Physical contact and people " Dad explained. I looked down in embarrassment and held Ashi tight. "I'll get your two's usual, and what does the cutie want?" My body felt warm when the lady said that 'what the hell am I feeling?' I kept pondering the thoughts "get him pancakes and a warm hot chocolate" dad requested "Not too hot please" Hizashi smiled as the lady walked to the counter "i-i-if Sh-Shota is d-d-dad then w-what are y-y-you?" I asked Hizashi. He looked down at me, giggled and smiled "you can call me... PAPA!" He stood up in a hero pose before he got dragged down by Dad "p-p-papa? I l-l-like it" I managed to make a smile at my Parents

Timeskip after breakfast  

I once again got into the car and tried to tie the belt. unlike before, I managed to clip it in. I smiled at myself and Ashi 'I'm finally able to be normal!' I was jumping up and down "calm down a bit Izu. next, we're going to go to the mall and get you some clothes and a few decorations!" Papa said while he got into the car "t-thank y-you papa... f-for everything" I smiled at my parents in the front of the car. Dad and Papa turned to me and smiled with all their might "you're adorable kid" "I'M GONNA DIE, IT'S SO CUTE!". I held Ashi while we began driving, with Dad and Papa talking about decorating my room. My eyes slowly looked around the area, there was a huge building and a ton of cars. "We're here" Papa announced. I unlocked the belt and we made our way to the huge building.

"Let's get you some pants and t-shirts first" Papa clapped his hands and began pulling us towards a shop. He began picking up random pieces of clothing while Dad disappeared "alright, let's go try these on" He began walking to a few stalls with me slightly behind. He pointed at one of the stalls and handed me a few pants and a few T-Shirts. I walked into the stall and changed. Each time I came out, Papa complimented my outfits. He ignored my scars and just focused on me. On the last outfit, Dad returned with a bag. "W-w-what's that?" I asked "that's a surprise" He winked "and those jeans look good" He made a slight smile and put a thumbs up

After grabbing underwear and socks, we headed to the hoodie section. "You should pick up a few long sleeve things" Papa recommended. I looked at each of the hoodies and picked out the ones that i liked the most. A Mint hoodie, A green dino hoodie, An all Might hoodie and finally an Eraserhead and a Present Mic hoodie. "Is that all Izuku?" Dad asked "I-I-I Think s-so" I replied with a small smile. We walked to the checkout and handed them the items. The girl on the till looked at me in Disgust "You two have a good day" She smiled at my parents before handing them the bags. I looked down and followed Dad and Papa to an area full of people and restaurants.

We walked up to a small sandwich place and waited in the line. I was kinda sad from the lady being mean but I was still happy that I was with people who care. I was concentrating on the menu when I suddenly felt a tug on my arm. I shook a bit and looked down "hey mister, whys your face all weird?" A little girl asked "oh. I- Um~ i-its" I began to freak out a bit and tapped Papa. The little girl looked up at them "whys his face all messed up?" She asked again. Papa and Dad looked at each other. Papa got down to the girls level and smiled "he's just different, not everyone is the same, it'd be boring then" He patted the girl on the head and looked at Dad

Dad reached into the bag and pulled out two plushies. "Give me the pomeranian and take these for a bit. Think of them as hugging us" He said as he handed me a Present Mic plush and an Eraserhead one as well. I looked up at the two of them, handed them Ashi and embraced my parents (the plushies) in a hug "now what sandwich interests you?" Papa asked. I relooked over the menu and picked the TLC "TLC P-p-please" I replied quietly "Anything for our cute broccoli boy" He went to ruffle my hair but instead he rubbed Ashi "Did you name him yet?" Dad asked "A-Ashi" I replied quietly "that's a nice name" I suddenly realised that he was talking for no reason. I tuned him out and listened to the people around me

"Whys a villain looking kid like that here?"

"Who'd want him?"

"Probably has an evil quirk as well"

"He looks uglier than that Dabi guy"

I began to cry at the comments, especially to do with Dabi, Dabi wasn't ugly, he was nice on the inside. Dad and Papa realised that their attempt had failed "Izuku, go with Hizashi to the car. I'll deal with these brats" Dads voice was the same as at the café "p-papa, can I w-w-wear a m-mask?" I asked as we walked to the car "Izuku, you need to understand, No matter what others say, You are beautiful, those scars are marks of the past. We can't change that but we can make you comfortable in your own skin" He bent down to my level and kissed the two plushies I had in my hand. "and me and Shota will always love you"
