ayako took her airpods out of her ears, pulling her hair out of the ponytail it was previously in.

you tapped your pencil against the paper of your math workbook, pursing your lips. your uniform was starting to feel suffocating on your skin. you and ayako had just done homework for about an hour and a half in the library, but it had felt like three years to you. kuroo would be back any minute now, and the anticipation to see him was dragging out every single second. 

"sorry i can't walk home with you today ayako," you apologized, packing your work into your backpack. ayako did the same.

"don't even worry about it," ayako grinned from the chair next to yours. "you have to give your boyfriend a good welcome back, if you know what i mean." she elbowed you in the side suggestively, wiggling her eyebrows.

you rolled your eyes and clicked your tongue, knowing exactly what she meant. "you talk about sex way too much for someone who's never had it."

ayako shrugged. "sue me."

you just laughed, picking up your bag. you checked your phone, it was 5:26. kuroo was supposed to arrive in four minutes.

you and ayako walked out of the library together, making your way towards the exit of the building. your heart pounded as you walked; you were way more excited to see your boyfriend than you wanted to admit to yourself. besides, you'd worn your best matching set of underwear for him. you didn't even know if you'd get to show him today, but you wanted to... so badly. you'd been daydreaming about it all day. your impure thoughts had you clenching your legs together in the middle of class.

despite all that, you were genuinely just excited to see him. you missed his smile, his voice, his hugs. you just wanted to be in his presence.

you opened the front door of the school for ayako, and she walked out before you. you followed after her, and your heart glowed at the sight of a bus parked in front of the school.

"bye, y/n!" ayako said with a smile, already making her way towards her home.

"bye! see you!" you waved at her happily before turning back to the bus. people in red jackets were walking out of it, carrying backpacks, duffel bags, and suitcases.

a grin surfaced on your face as your eyes found kuroo's tall figure. he seemed to be arguing playfully with yaku, but you didn't care. you quickly put down your backpack on the pavement and ran towards him.

"kuroo!" you called, catching his attention as you continued to run in his direction.

he turned away from yaku, catching sight of you. his face lit up immediately, and he opened his arms for you.

"y/n!"

you reached him and wrapped your arms around his neck tightly, and kuroo lifted you up off the ground. you wrapped your legs around his waist and buried your face in the crook of his neck, taking in his scent and the feeling of his strong body against you.

"hi, baby," kuroo said gently, pressing a kiss on the side of your neck.

"i missed you so much," you said, pulling your face out of the crook of his neck to look at all of his face. he was handsome as ever, and you held his face in your hands before leaning your head down to kiss his lips, closing your eyes and moving your mouth against his. kuroo kissed you back sweetly, closing his own eyes.

"get a room, you two," yaku commented, rolling his eyes.

"don't be rude, yaku," said kai calmly. "but, yeah. get a room."
