Both trainers looked to the Professor. She stood there in her long white lab coat. She wore a dark green dress which went down to her knees. She had long purple hair tied up in an interesting way. She wore black shoes which had small heels. She had very light blue eyes which were very bright.
"Good morning trainers " She said with a smile waving.
Kyle and Anna both walked towards with Eevee and Chimchar following on.
"Good morning Professor. My names Anna." Anna said with a smile. "Thank you so much for saving our Pokémon last night. This is my partner Chimchar".
Chimchar jumped into a back flip shouting "Chim char chim".
Kyle followed up by saving.
"Yes. Without you we surely would of lost Eevee and Chimchar. And my name is Kyle and this is my Buddy Eevee".
Eevee sat up straight looking at the professor looking very proud.
"Well its no trouble really". She smiled at the pair and then looked down to Eevee and Chimchar.
"By the looks of it you two are brand new trainers"
"Yes we are. were both from Twin Leaf town." Anna said.
"Oh wow so you've just began your journey". The Professor turned to Kyle with a smile.
"I was very impress by your bravery yesterday Kyle. Even with no Pokémon you stood up to those thugs and fought back. By putting yourself at risk your stalled long enough for me to stop them. Without your actions I doubt Eevee and Chimchar would be by both your side right now".
Kyle cheeks suddenly became very red and he let his chin fall to his chest.
"T-thank you". Kyle said with a grateful tone.
" I just came to the centre to see if everyone was okay and come see some of the trainers and making sure they were fit for their journeys".
The professor paused for a moment.
"Oh my I haven't even introduce myself properly. I am Professor Leon. I work at the Sandgem Pokémon laboratory. My job is to help new trainers get their first Pokémon in the Sinnoh region when they reach 10 years old."
"I got my Chimchar there but when I went to get him I never saw you" Anna said.
"Oh my dear how old are you know? " The professor asked.
"Me and Kyle are both 16 Professor" she said.
"Ah right. Well I've only started working at the laboratory three years ago. Trainers who want their first Pokémon may come to me when they have reached the age of ten but all children must finish school at the age of 16 to go on their journey and have more than one Pokémon."
Kyle nodded along as he knew all of this and was pretty sure Anna did to. It's just how the world worked.
"Tell you what. Would you two be interested in coming to the lab and seeing all the different types of Pokémon?"
Anna's eye shined so brightly and hands clapped together with hair head nodding back and forth.
"Oh wow. Really...you mean it ?"
"Yeah. why not? "
Kyle simply gave a polite and calm response back to professor Leon
"Yes please."
