i have stopped waiting for you,

but my heart still aches at your absence.

i look at the man who loves me endlessly,

puts me first, and

i know would do anything to make me happy,

but still cannot shake you from my thoughts.

you creep in late at night when he's not in my bed,

reminding me no matter how much i love him,

i love you first.
