Why don't you wear a better perfume? I look up at the question strange, Wondering if I smelled gross and I Study the rack of newest perfume range, As if wearing a new perfume Will make everything in my life change.
I sigh and move further away, Away from the concoction of smells, Trust me, I love fragrances But not strong enough so that it tells, Also I hate incense sticks One of my personal hells.
There's nothing wrong in not liking deos I mean it's not as if I smell bad, Suffocating perfume that burn our nose Aren't actually the latest fad, But when people really do overdo the scent It's kind of funnily sad.

Perfume started long back In the Mesopotamia ancient, Flowers, herbs and extracts were used To make the early Egyptian scent, Since then perfume has been modernised As the years went.
Perfume was associated with high class Till it became a fashion now, But as days progressed, It became a cause of allergy somehow, And not to mention the environment And all the harm does caused till now.

On the flip side of the story, Perfumes are sometimes very distinct, In ways you make out a person in a room, Though personally I think it's instinct.
Well, if you think humans have a scent It's just pheromones not a perfume And that's the cause of 'attraction' Well you got repulsed by that I assume.

The advertisements are a farce people Just remember you aren't bound, To wear scents to be attractive Ways to stay hygienic needs to be found, Also some perfumes my cause cancer Check product composition, ask around.
Wearing a perfume is also your choice Just like every other accessory, You may like light or dark or even It might totally be unnecessary, Or you may like 'mens' marked perfume Though it doesn't make sensevery.
How did scent come to be a scale To judge people these days? How does the right scent 'attract' The opposite gender in many ways? Or how how even in the perfume business Gender discrimination still stays?

Author's Note : I don't judge anyone for wearing perfume! It's everyone's personal choice! Though I tend to have asthmatic effects with perfume or incense, light smells are okay for me. The fact which is don't like is discriminating scents for men and women... Subtle and strong, as if ! A scent isn't a yardstick to measure your personality. Just shower daily, keep yourself fresh and clean, instead of running after smelling good! That only matters!
