Chapter-1

MAHIR

I got ready and came downstairs for breakfast. Mom was setting the table and yuvi was eating.

I wished maa and spatted on yuvi's head to which he complained mom like a baby.

He is really a scamp.

Anyways I was eating peacefully to notice dad was again not present here, who cares. It's usual now.

"How will Andy react to your decision of going to India", maa said out of the blue.

She was right indeed.

But I badly wanted to meet Bela now.

I was going to speak but yuvi spoke", mom let him go else he'll die of love".

"Shut your mouth yuvi", I said and thought for a while.

"Umm.... I have a plan mom you can say dad that I went to India to get some experience to handle business". I said.

"Ya after 5 years of being the head of three branches you still need experience, bhai everyone in London knows how good you are and your achievements it will be surely a lame excuse".said yuvi again putting me in a plight.

"But there is a way we know how much Andy trusts Sri Bhai Sahab. I can say him that you went to him to get to know how to develop our Indian branch which is in debts he'll not have an issue then I hope", said maa explaining her point.

As soon as I heard her I went and hugged her tightly and said to her, "You are so right. Finally I can meet Bela after these terrible years".

"Calm down Mr Smitten", said yuvi laughing.

I was blushing like a newlywed bride.

Belllaaaaaa!!!!!

What have you made me?

Finally maa said protecting me," Shut up Yuvi, just think who will save you from vish there".

"Although I don't remember her much still I want to know the girl who annoyed me a lot in childhood", said Yuvi making faces.

"Hmm... you will see her soon. Please maa, make sure that dad should not contact Sri uncle in any way until and unless I don't send him to London", I said in a serious tone.

"I'll try my best beta", maa said my caressing my cheek with love.

I smiled and said, "pack your bags yuvi we'll leave tomorrow evening".

He nodded.

I was over-excited as if I won a lottery.

Ughh!!!

I just love this feeling.

I am coming Bela !!!

I am coming my love !!!!

Two Days later,

Bela

My sleep was disturbed because of the sunlight.

Ahh!! I just hate it.

I looked the other side to find Vish snoring.

Ughhh!!

More than getting disturbed by the sunlight I hate the person sleeping so calmly beside me when I am all awake.

I saw the time it was 7:45.

"Get up Vish", I said throwing a pillow on her face.

She moaned in sleep, getting disturbed.

"Get up damn it. You are getting late for college". I said throwing another pillow on her face.

Now she was wide awake.

"Omg, 7:45 today I will surely be late for the college, di I am going to take bath first", she said panicking.

"Calm down girl you will fall". I said

She ran to the washroom.

We both got ready came downstairs.

To see mom dad talking something suspicious.

Hmm... I am noticing both of them. Talking about something which they don't want to tell me. And making lame excuses when I ask them.

Weird.

We went and wished them to take a seat for breakfast.

We were eating when dad said out of the blue, "Bela beta, Mahir...."

As soon as I heard him I cut him off and said with anger and disappointment," Dad you know I don't want to hear about him, he was my best friend but he left me alone. And now I hate him for being selfish and you know why I never tried to find or hear anything about him in these years because I don't want the past to return and make me sick for losing his friendship".

My eyes were teary saying all this.

Only I knew what he meant to me.

But he never cared about me.

All were quiet.

Although I told them this many time today dad said it after a long time.

After sometime vish left

Now I was a bit calm.

I saw dad's phone ringing and I was about to pick it when dad reached me and took the phone from me quickly.

He looked tense.

He patted my head and went away to answer the call.

"Umm...Bela beta m..my friend is coming to meet me so i.. I need to go. You go to the office. I will come soon. Okay".He said caressing my hair.

I nodded feeling suspicious.

He was stammering.

Umm....something is really cooking.
