  Backstory:

Dominique was ten years old when her parents were murdered right in front of her by a Cyclops. She had to run to survive. When she told the police her story they didn't believe her. They said it was the shock and grief was talking. A group of scientists took her in for a short time and experimented on her while she was there. When the scientists were found out Dominique was taken away.

They put her in a orphanage where she stayed for 2 years. While there she met Lucita Kaneko, her new best friend. Lucita helped her with her grief, as she had lost both of her parents to a forest fire four years prior. Both Lucita and Dominique thought that their fathers were their real fathers not their stepfathers. They became fast friends because of their similarities in personality.
