I tried to make this as simple as possible, so please try your best to follow these few rules. They might look like a lot, but they're almost all one-step instructions. If you do not follow these rules, you will be DISQUALIFIED.
Here they are:
1) BE KIND: Anyone who is rude will be eliminated from this awards. I will not tolerate rudeness or any form of bullying. If you follow my main account, you'd know that I write for bullying awareness, so I am especially not fond of those who put down others.
2) FOLLOW MY MAIN ACCOUNT @EverTale: Pretty self-explanatory.
3) FOLLOW THIS ACCOUNT: Again, self-explanatory.
4) PM ME AFTER YOU FOLLOW BOTH ACCOUNTS: Make sure to PM BOTH ACCOUNTS. This is to make it easier for me to know that you're following me. Simply say: I followed you for (insert name of awards here).
5) FOLLOW YOUR JUDGES: Do as told. (They will be announced in later chapters.)
6) ONE BOOK PER CATEGORY, AND THREE BOOKS MAXIMUM: So, to clarify, only ONE book per category, and in total, you may enter three books. (All in DIFFERENT categories.)
7) ALL ENTRIES MUST BE IN ENGLISH: Sorry, guys. It's just easier, and I don't speak every single language in the world, even though I'm multilingual.
8) MATURE AND LGBTQ+ ARE ALLOWED: I'll just have to make sure that your judges are okay with reading it first.
9) ADD THIS BOOK TO YOUR LIBRARY: Just so you can receive notifications when I update.
10) NO BRIBING JUDGES: It's just not cool, man.
11) NO UNFOLLOWING: I, and the judges, work hard for this stuff.
12) PASSWORD: Your favorite snack.
13) GIVE THIS A SHOUT-OUT ON YOUR MESSAGE BOARD! MAKE SURE YOU USE THIS USERNAME WHEN YOU POST IT, SO I CAN CHECK THAT YOU FOLLOWED THE RULES: You should post it to your profile, but if you don't know how to do that, just insert the link, and let your followers know the title.
14) YOUR BOOK MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF FIVE CHAPTERS UNLESS IT IS A POEM OR A SHORT STORY: This is EXCLUDING any introductions, prologues, and author's notes. Just five plain chapters are needed.
15) YOUR BOOK CANNOT HAVE MORE THAN 50K READS: This is for beginners, sorry.
16) MESSAGE ME IF YOU CHANGE YOUR USERNAME, BOOK TITLE, OR IF YOU DROP OUT: This step if essential to avoid any confusion. Thanks.
17) YOU CAN PARTICIPATE AND ALSO JUDGE: Just as long as you don't judge a category your books are in.
