—————

things had been a little strained between you and schlatt for the past few days, but you both tried to pretend it wasn't like that. you two streamed once more since the last one and it had been sort of rough, pretty awkward.

chat definitely did notice, every once in a while you saw someone pointing out how strange the dynamic felt. there had also been a few tweets, but it seemed as though most of your fans respected you two enough to drop it.

you kept telling yourself that it was fine; couples had fights and this was only the first one. you two would get through this, it would just be weird for a bit. that's all.

schlatt's leaving day was tomorrow, and you would be damned if he left on a bad note. you wanted things to be okay when he got home.

"hey, sweetheart," schlatt called to you, kissing your forehead quickly before heading to your cabinets and grabbing a glass. he pulled the orange juice out of your fridge and poured himself a glass, and then poured one for you, too.

looks like he was already making an effort to resolve things between you two. you were glad, you had no idea how to start making things better.

he handed you the glass and you said thank you, taking a sip right after. schlatt slipped into the barstool next to you, pulling his phone out and scrolling through instagram and then twitter.

"i just got a message from rajj," schlatt told you, smiling teasingly. you both knew what that meant, he wanted schlatt to go on the rajjchelorette again.

"that might be fun," you tried to keep any sarcasm out of your voice, because it's true, it probably would be fun. you didn't exactly want him to go on the show, but if he did you wouldn't be mad or anything.

he looked at you incredulously, raising a brow, "y'know im not really gonna go on the show."

"i mean, if you want to you can," everything you said sounded so condescending even when you didn't mean it to. luckily, he understood what you were trying to say.

"no, honestly i don't want to. even if it's just a show, i have you now, no need for that shit," he told you, wrapping an arm around your waist and pinching it playfully. you batted his hand away and laughed, happy that you two were on good terms now.

"still a good opportunity for views, which i don't think i need to remind you, means money," you teased, leaning in and pecking his cheek.

"hmm, maybe. but im already the funniest man on the internet," he scratched his chin, "people are just naturally drawn to me."

rolling your eyes, you took another sip of the orange juice. he did the same, eyeing you from the side curiously as you licked the extra oj off your lips.

"so, anything you wanna do on your last day?"

"ya make it sound like im dying. no, darlin', there's nothin' i wanna do on my last day," he shook his head, his soft hair hanging loosely on his face. he brushed it away before giving you a bright smile.

"well.. im sure i can come up with a  few things we can do to pass some time," you said suggestively, pressing your shoulder against his and giving him doe eyes.
