Laylani POV
I was heading home I just took Neveah to meet Marcus they talked for a little then it was time to leave. Neveah said that she was happy to meet him but she wants De'shawn to still be her dad.
I got Veah out the car lock the doors and unlocked the house doors.
"Hey Bae" I heard De'shawn say
"Hey" I said kissing him on the lips
"Eww the nasty" Kari and Neveah said at the same time
"Oh shh" I said sitting down
"Bae I couldn't find like half of my clothes are you throwing them out or sum" I asked De'shawn
"Nah but I gotta surprise I was gonna wait but you already noticed" he said
"What are you up to" I asked him
"You gonna see kids put your shoes on I have a surprise" he said
TIME SKIP
He pulled up to a building.
"Put these on all of you guys" he said holding blind folds
"What if you try and kill us" Neveah said
"For real cause I watched movies about gang members and this how they set people up" Kari said
"One why would I kill my children or the woman I love and two I'm not a gang member" De'shawn said
"Stop cappn" Kari said and Neveah and Kari both start laughing
"Why y'all don't believe him" I said
"Um cause it's obvious nice car hella money he's a drug dealer" Neveah said
"Just put the blind folds on" De'shawn said
We put the blind folds on and he started driving. We stopped and I heard a door close and open.
"Come on" De'shawn said holding my hand
I let him guide me and then I felt floor. He took the blind fold off and we were in a house.
"Oh my gosh De'Shawn" I said walking around the house
"Only for my family" he said hugging me
"Drug dealer" I heard Kari mumble to Neveah
"Yep cause house to big" Neveah said
"Can y'all stop before people start thinking I really do that I work at a barber shop" De'shawn said
"I looked up the most income for a barbershop and it's not enough for this house the house you have and the cars you have" Kari said
"Y'all wanna see y'all rooms" De'shawn said tryna change the subject
"Guess so if you wanna change the subject" Neveah said walking up the stairs with Kari, and De'shawn following
"Kids to damn smart" I heard De'shawn try and mumble
I wonder what he means by that. I know he's not a drug dealer or anything that dangerous he wouldn't lie to me and the kids right in our faces.
