She then slipped back to reality and found Leonel frowning at her. She raised an eyebrow. "What?"
Leonel gestured to his left arm, which was extended to her. She wondered why, but then she saw a handkerchief on the palm of his hand, and she looked at him questioningly. Why would she need a hanky? She wasn't crying, and she had no reason to.
Leonel facepalmed and looked at her pointedly. When she didn't flinch, he groaned. "Oh come on!" Doesn't this girl have any common sense? He took her wrist, but they both jerked away when they felt something. He breathed, clutching his hand with the other one. "What..." He turned to Natalie, but she gave him a 'What-Happened' look. He shook his head and was about to say something when he felt someone slap his back.
"Hey, Leonel! Long time no see, pal!" The person grinned at him, and whistled when he caught sight of Natalie. "Shit, dude," the person slammed his fist on Leonel's shoulder playfully as he took in the appearance of the girl in front of her. "She's hot!" He whispered. But Natalie, having vampiric hearing, heard it and smirked, crossing her arms. She had heard it many times, unintentionally, of course. Thinking that nobody would take in what would happen and that no one would notice, she let her hand heal.
But she was wrong.
Leonel saw it - no, he kind of felt it - happen. He didn't know why or how, but he just... Knew. He looked suspiciously at her, and then yanked her wrist to see if there was still a wound.
But Natalie was fast. She knew what he would do the moment he looked at her like that. And so she pressed her nails on the place where the wound was earlier and it bled- and when Leonel acted, it was too late, the wound was reopened. He gave her a scrutinizing look before he let go of her hand. He was not convinced. He pulled her to him and whispered, "We'll talk in private later."
Before he pulled back, Natalie gripped his shirt, and a weird feeling came over him. He wanted to do something to her, something that wasn't allowed in the school. PDA was forbidden.
But not strictly. A voice in his mind said. Yeah... Not strictly, but it was wrong. He shouldn't hug her tight. He didn't even know her until last night, and hugging her right now doesn't really seem normal. He was still practically a stranger to her. Realizing this, he pulled back, but Natalie didn't let him. She pulled his shirt harder and whispered, rather seductively, might I add, "Why? What do you want to say?"
Leonel shivered. He certainly could feel something. Something he wasn't familiar with. Something he hadn't felt before. He didn't want to do anything to her, but his body was doing the opposite. Thankfully, before he could even do anything, someone pulled her off of him.
"Gee, Natalie, don't do that to my son! He doesn't have control over himself! Especially over lust!" The person was unsurprisingly JR. And because of what he said, students were now staring at them - or rather, Natalie - with a curious glint in their eyes.
Leonel looked at Natalie and was surprised at what he saw.
Natalie was biting her lip and staring at him, her posture tense, like she was fighting something inside.
He wondered. Did she feel the same as he did?
Nah. Probably not. I'm over thinking things.
Natalie's POV
What happened earlier was way out of hand.
I swear to the gods of Olympus, I did not mean to do that to him! I really didn't want to seduce him or do, you know, things... I wasn't in my right mind. It was my body... Or to put it simply, my Sub Self. Goodness, resisting the healing process was hard enough, and now something like this happens? Why? Why is it like this? Why is Kath acting like a hormonal, horny teenager? Sorry for using that word, but I really couldn't think of anything else to describe how she was acting! She was running back and forth - yes, running, not pacing - like someone was chasing her. It was certainly not normal.
