"You have no one." he said as he left you alone.

No, you're wrong. I do have someone.
I just can't remember. I do have someone.

I'm not alone, i'm not alone, I'm not alone

"I'm not alone!" You yelled. The room you had been in was soundproof so they couldn't hear a thing.

You couldn't help but cry. You always pushed this thought away. You never wanted to think just how alone you were.

But deep down you knew you were.

Deep down you knew just how alone you were.

You never had someone. You lived your life in solitude. Rarely letting people in. When you did some horrible fate awaited them.

That's how it went. You never had friends for long as something bad would happen to them sooner or later.

Why was this time any different?

You could feel your tears running down your face.

I know I am. I know I'm alone. I always am.

As you thought that flashes of people you didn't remember came to you. It was several people smiling at you. You felt as if you knew them.

You had counted 15 people that flashed before your eyes. You knew them. You knew you met them. You just didn't know when.

They were all smiling.

Your tears stopped. You felt warmth surround you. You felt warmth you hadn't felt in decades.

It felt as if several people were hugging you. They were the few people you let in your life. There were different scents filling the room. Each representing a different person.

One smelled like flowers while another smelled like honey. One smelled like mint while one smelled like cinnamon.

There were 2 faces you recognized. One belonged to Violet and the other belonged to Nana Shimura. Violet being your childhood friend while Nana gave you a purpose for a while.

3 faces appeared from the back of your mind. The memories you had with them came to mind. Each of them you met decades ago. You remembered their names. You had met them from your time in the states.

Sawyer Ramirez.

Theodore Grey.

Mariana James.

Sawyer was an Artist. She liked using you as a model. She was always painting you. Theodore was a baseball player. He always got home runs. Mariana James was a soccer player. She was the best striker on the team. She always scored most of the goals and helped with assists.

But then you saw new faces.
The faces of people you barely met.
Faces you did recognize.

Faces of people who did talk to you no matter how much you pushed them away.

Faces of people who had different yet similar personalities.

Faces of people who didn't give up.
Most of the time.

Faces of people who were heroes.

You weren't alone.
Not anymore.
