Clash!

Red liquid starts to drip from a young girl's forehead as she glares at the person who threw the glass bottle.

"Bo!" yelled an old woman who was in her 50's. "Why are being like this?!"

The woman was yelling towards a man who was in his late 20s that was also the one who threw the glass bottle towards the girl. This person was called Zhou Bo.

His eyes look to be red as he looks towards the old woman who then flinches and unconsciously took a step back.

"Why?" he voiced out and the young girl hated hearing his voice whenever he spoke. "Don't you know exactly why I'm like this?!"

The girl clenches her fist and bit her inner lip to prevent herself from saying any more stupid things that could cause the man to become angrier than he currently was. She knew nothing good would come from pissing the man off but even her own blood was boiling that it was getting hard for her to control herself as well.

She didn't even do anything and just glared at the man, letting her blood flow down freely from her head which caused the old woman to feel aggrieved.

"Bo-er... Didn't you say you want to change? So why are you being like this again?" the old woman speaks in a gentle tone as she looks at her son with a pitiful look.

"Ask your daughter why I'm being like this! It's her fault. She couldn't stop saying how disgusting I was! I didn't even bother her at all and she keeps trying to test my patience by saying those words!" the man glares at the young girl who didn't falter but instead looks at the man with an intense hatred that made the man angrier.

The man tries to reach for anything so he could throw it towards the girl just so he could make her stop looking at him that way.

All of a sudden the door was opened and out came an old man who was in his late 40s.

Looking at the scene before him, he frowns and demandingly asked, "What happened?"

The man only glares at the girl before leaving which only left the three people behind.

The old man wanted to stop the man from leaving but the old woman stopped him and thus, the two lets the man go.

But the old man summoned both the old woman and the girl into the living room so he could know what has happened.

The old man and old women were husband and wife who were known as Mr and Mrs Zhou. The wife was older as she is in her 50s while the husband was a few years younger. The two of them have 4 children.

The eldest was the man who was in the late 20s named Zhou Bo who also threw a glass bottle towards the youngest child who just turned 20 named Zhou Ling.

Mr Zhou sighs as he looks at his youngest daughter. He always knew that the eldest never got along well with his siblings especially the youngest one.

This wasn't the first time this has happened but he still asked for what had happened.

Mrs Zhou was currently tending to Zhou Ling's injury and explained about their eldest son's outburst was due to Zhou Ling's provocation which caused him to threw the bottle.

Zhou Ling immediately counters by saying, "I didn't say anything. I just woke up due to the constant noise that he was making by banging my door."

Both her parents could only sigh.

Zhou Ling was naturally a quiet person who likes her sleep as she has insomnia at night and could only sleep around midnight and such.

So when someone caused a noise that bothered her sleeping hour, she would get angry, especially after knowing what happened.

Zhou Bo was a dr*g addict who has done things that goes beyond one's moral belief. He was currently working as a security worker for a housing apartment and never got along with his siblings since young.

He wants to change by stop doing dr*gs many times before and often blame his family for not helping him which was why he would always lose to the dr*gs.

Zhou Ling was currently studying at her university majoring in Economics and felt that whatever he said was b*llsh*t. Because she always believed that he wouldn't change.

After all, the eldest sibling shared similar traits with their grandmother. Both were selfish and likes to play as the victim thinking they are the ones who are right while everyone is wrong.

'History would repeat itself' was what Zhou Ling believe. So rather than wasting her time trying to fix the family, it was better to focus on all that energy to studying.

After all, Zhou Ling was fighting for her own future at the moment. She wants to graduate as a Valedictorian from her university and gain a bright future ahead of her. So far she was already one of the top 3 students in her department and her parents also believe that she would do well which was why they had high hopes for her.

Zhou Ling once thought her parents would be understanding as they should see that she was bearing many burdens. She was already stressed with her academic since she wasn't the best in her school, while her grandmother was constantly causing drama, and now she has to deal with the eldest's sh*t?

But no- her parents would always wear that disappointed smile as they look at her and say, "we are one family. He is your brother who shares the same blood as you so you should help him".

Zhou Ling would often want to puke blood from the stress she had to carry.

Often she would think about ending her own life since it was meaningless at times but she would often remind herself that there were plenty of people having worse things than her and yet they didn't give up. So she had to do the same.

Despite her parents being toxic, Zhou Ling wouldn't abandon them. They have raised her from young, clothed and fed her until now. So she would make sure to pay them back by caring for them until they die because she does not plan on getting married to continue her own generation.

Her sister could already do that with her nephew.

Yet who knew fate would twist her life by ruining her plans as Zhou Ling died not soon after that due to an accident.
