Chapter 16

We laugh at him. "You know we will!" Carson says. We say bye to him and are still laughing by the time we close the door.

After that, we decide just to walk home in our dresses since we only live 3 houses down. We say bye to Connor and Ricky and give them quick hugs as we head out into the cool night.

We laugh and talk about what moves we're gonna pull on the dance floor tommorow night. As we enter the house and walk up the stairs, we all go our seperate ways to our rooms.

I close the door behind me and sigh happily. I take a look at myself in the full length mirror. Maybe tommorow night won't be a total train wreck.

At least that's what I thought.

Carson's POV

That Friday was the longest Friday ever! All I heard about at school was about the party tonight. This was going to be huge!

After a long day of learning, the usual 5 of us (Carson,Connor,Ricky,Annabelle, and Scout) Get a quick lunch and afterwards, we start getting ready. We all needed time to prepare!

I hop into the the shower and quickley rince off. I dry my hair and curl it in soft, bouncy curls. I put on my bright red dress and shoes that match and take a look at my self in the mirror.

I decide on some Red lipstick and a pretty smokey eye. I'm ready! I step out into the hall and see my favorite 4 girls waiting. We goin to do this prom style!

We walk down the stairs, one after the other, just as we did yesterday. And I must say, we must look good because the look on the guy's faces below says exactly that.

Sam's POV

Holy...

Wow.

Kian's POV

*Internally whistles* Dang.

Connor's POV

Wow I'm a lucky man.

Ricky's POV

Well snap.

Scout's POV

As I make it to the bottom of the stairs, I'm immediatly greeted by Kian. He has me in his arms within seconds and I laugh.

"Wow. You look.... Wow." Kian says looking me up and down and finally at my eyes. "I'm the luckiest man alive." I smile up at him and he cups my face in his hands and pulls me closer to him.

I yank back and he looks down at me worridly. "You'll ruin my lipstick!" I fake yell at him and he still looks confused. "Im kidding. Now quit over thinking and kiss me." I say and he does exactly that.

Augusta's POV

We all take cute selfies on our way outside. I'm shocked at what I see as we step into the cool night. Right in front of us is a long, black,sleek limo.

"Did ya'll do this?" I ask in astonishment. "Well we weren't going to not show up in style!" Kian says and Scout slaps his shoulder playfully. "Let's do this thing!" I hear Annabelle shout and I smile as we all make our way into the limo.

As we start driving, we turn on the Radio. Turn Down For What turns on and we all yell the lyrics. I look around at all of my friends, smiling and laughing. Just purley happy.

Tonight was going to be a night to remember.

And boy was I right.
