Once,
With a man whom
No longer exists,
He changed me,
He built me up,
He knocked me down,
He gave me confidence
Once,
But all too quickly,
He took it away,
He was gentle and kind,
Now he's cold and detached,
He loved me
Once
Too,
But he took it all back.
