𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝗛𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 : 𝗧𝗮𝗻𝗷𝗶𝗿𝗼 𝗯𝗿𝗼𝗸𝗲 𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗺 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗹𝗲𝗴 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗳𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻. 𝗜𝗻𝗼𝘀𝘂𝗸𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗭𝗲𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘀𝘂 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮 𝗯𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝗷𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗧𝗮𝗻𝗷𝗶𝗿𝗼 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗯𝗿𝗼𝗸𝗲𝗻 𝗯𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀.

Tanjiro's POV:

I groan and woke with a bit of blurry vision. I tried to get up but my back aches me so much.

Tanjiro : "Agh.."

I groan in annoyance and Inosuke and Zenitsu both flinched and smiled when they noticed I  was awake.

Inosuke : "MONJIRO! YOUR OKAY!"

Zenitsu : "Stop shouting you idiot!"

Inosuke : "SHUT UP MONITSU!"

I laughed at them and Zenitsu came up to me and help me get up and brace my back onto the bedframe. Inosuke came up to me and sat onto the bed with me clearly was worried.

Inosuke : "Moron, stop scaring us like that!"

Tanjiro : "I'm sorry Inosuke!"

Inosuke : "Tch!"

Shinobu : "Inosuke, go to the training room. I need Zenitsu and Tanjiro."

He got off the room and headbutted the door open as Shinobu - Chan just sighed and came over to the both of us. She sat down and told of almost everyone is leaving for a mission. Including some Hashiras. '𝘚𝘰 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘢 𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯?' I thought a bit shock while Zenitsu looked happy since he doesn't need to be fighting any demons.

Shinobu : "So Zenitsu will be taking care of you!"

Zenitsu : "WhA!?"

Tanjiro : "I don't mind!"

Zenitsu : "Y-you WhaT-!?"

Shinobu : "Well it's settled!"

She got up and happily walked out while Zenitsu was a mix of happy and flustered. '𝘞𝘩𝘺 𝘪𝘴 𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘭𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘥?' I thought. He got onto the bed with me  and looked at me.

Zenitsu : "H-How are you f-feeling?"

Tanjiro : "Good! *Smile*"

He turned his head to the side. '𝘋𝘪𝘥 𝘐 𝘥𝘰 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨?' I frowned and he noticed. He came closer and cupped my cheeks and made me look at him. I felt my face heat up as he looked down at me. I shut my eyes tightly.

Zenitsu : "Just teasing Tanjiro!"

He let go and smiled at me. He got off the bed and was about to walk out the door.

Tanjiro : "Wait-!"

Zenitsu : "Hm?"

Tanjiro : "Where are you going?"

Zenitsu : "To get you soup, duh!"

And just like that he walked out. I felt my heart beat a bit fast, he was so close to my face. I covered my face embarrassed. I wanted to lay down, I slowly tried my best to move down without the pain hurting me until I accidently hit my arm on the bedframe.

Tanjiro : "GAH-!"

I fell off the bed and the pain was terrible in both my leg and arm. I heard foot steps coming towards me but it hurts so much. I just laid down and shut my eyes tightly. I bit my bottom lip in pain.

Zenitsu : "Tanjiro!"

Tanjiro : "I-it hurts!"

He came over to me a picked me up and rested me onto the bed. Everything hurts, it was painful. He rested my head onto his shoulder and when I was gonna say something he told me to relax. It was still painful, he started to stroke my hair gently trying to get me to relax.

Zenitsu : "How did you fell off..?"

Tanjiro : "I-I wanted to lay down."

Zenitsu : "You should have called me then you idiot!"

Tanjiro : "S-Sorry!"

He helped me lay down onto the bed and covered me with the blanket. My leg and arm still hurts  but it was as painful from before. He was about to leave again until I pulled him back with my arm that wasn't injured.

Tanjiro : "D-Don't leave..!"

Tanjiro : "Please.."

I didn't wanted to be left alone, and Zenitsu company really makes me feel better. He made me let go of him and went towards the door. '𝘖𝘩 𝘩𝘦'𝘴 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘭..' I thought and pouted a bit sad. He locked the doors and came back towards me and sat on the bed with me.

Zenitsu : "I won't leave you."

I looked up at him surprised and relaxed as he was still staying with me. I smiled and snuggled my face onto his hand and slowly fell asleep enjoying the company from him.
