Chapter 3

"go play in the game room." Frank said as his employee's started coming in. Mike nodded slightly and ran off, afraid Frank would be angry if he didn't. he played silently until he heard other kids start pouring. he headed for Pirates Cove to hide out with Foxy, but stopped when he heard a familiar voice.

"he-hey kids! welcome to Fredd-Freddy Fazbears!" Freddy exclaimed. Mike headed back towards the main room, watching the three animatronics give their wake up greetings. the three on stage smiled and waved at the kids, for a moment before Freddy's eye's settled on Frank. he stared Frank down, but continued to do his normal thing. Frank nodded his head towards one of the tables and the bear slowly turned his head to look. Mike was standing beside one of the tables, staring at the three animatronics. immediately the bear went back to smiling and looking at the other kids, but made sure to keep an eye on Mike. they may have been unresponsive before, but they had seen everything that had happened.

"hi Freddy!" Mike waved. the bear winked but gave no other response, making Mike pout. "he didn't answer me." Mike said, running over to Frank.

"he can't right now." Frank replied.

"well thats stupid! how come they can't walk around?" Mike ask.

"because they're not allowed to." Frank replied. Mike glared at him.

"thats not fair!" Mike glared, stomping his foot. Frank swore he saw the three on stage wince as the boys face grew red with anger.

"go eat some pizza." Frank said.

"how come Foxy's not on stage! thats not fair either!" Mike shouted. Frank was already getting annoyed.

"because he stayed up extra late with you he's tired." Frank snapped. Mike got quiet as if considering this.

"I guess that makes sense."

he huffed to himself and stomped off. Frank sighed slightly and watched the boy go off and get something to eat. Mike sat down and ate his slices of pizza, sipping his soda. Frank sighed slightly and looked around, pausing when he found Bonnie's eye's on him. he silently pointed towards Mike and the rabbit followed his finger, ears perking back up and smile staying firmly on his face once he spotted Mike. he continued to stare at the child until both Freddy and Chica spotted him as well, then they went on with their programming. Mike giggled and waved at them.

"how come they're ignoring me?"

Mike pouted slightly. Frank had never seen the three fight their programming so much. he sighed and headed into the kitchen for a drink. when he came back, Mike was no longer at the table. he frowned and looked around the main room but could find Mike. he paled slightly and looked up when he felt the animatronic eye's on him. Freddy was staring at him again. Frank swallowed hard, paling more, with a slight shrug of his shoulder and he swore he saw the bears eye's widen. immediately Freddy stopped singing, voice box glitching in the middle of the last word he'd started, his head twitching slightly. after a moment Chica started twitching and vibrating, her cupcake plate falling from her hand and the cupcake seemed to stare at Frank. once Bonnie seemed to realize what was happening, he simply stood frozen on stage, giving Frank an evil look.

"oh shit." Frank mumbled. he headed quickly to the stage as kids started noticing, closing the curtains quickly. "okay kids! Freddy and his friends are going to take a lunch break but they'll be back real soon!" Frank assured. he headed behind the curtain swallowing. the animatronics stood slightly bent over, silently staring, all of them vibrating or twitching in some way or another. Frank didn't know they could make themselves do that but he knew they were worried about Mike getting hurt by the original animatronics, he quickly picked up Chica's cupcake and plate putting it aside. "don't worry, I'm going to find him." Frank assured, heading off the stage. he bit his lip and searched the main room. he searched the restaurant room by room. kitchen, main room, game room, bathrooms, security room, even the room behind the stage. he checked all the closets and employee only rooms, before pausing as he came across Pirates Cove. he could see the fox staring out of the open curtain still sitting on the floor of the stage. he swallowed and walked over. "oh thank god." Frank mumbled. Mike was curled up in the pirates lap, snoring. he sighed in relief and headed back to the stage to reposition the animatronics back to wake up mode. their eye's followed him as they shook. "he's okay. he's sleeping in the Cove with Foxy." Frank mumbled to them. they stopped immediately and stood still. he placed the cupcake back in Chica's hand once it was steady. Frank jumped off stage, opening the curtains.

"okay kiddos Freddy and the band are back from their break and ready to keep singing just you for guys!" Frank smiled.

"h-hey kids! we-welcome back to Freddy's!" Freddy announced. Frank let out a deep sigh and headed so he could sit and see Mike, this was going to be a long day.

*closing time*

Mike was up and running around. he was actually playing games, under Franks watchful eye as he was closing up. he frowned slightly, what was he supposed to do with the boy if he couldn't leave him here and couldn't take him out of the place. he frowned slightly watching his employee's leave. as the last one left he sighed and looked at Mike, who was playing some game or another.
