They bump into each other but instead of being mad at the other they start talking. Basically they give each other their phone numbers. Then, when the local girl is flirting she says she can show the other girl all her favorite spots. And they do that in the time the tourist is there. Then the tourist has to go back home. Boom end of the book.
The second book would be about her going on another vacation but not to the same spot. The other girl moved somewhere else and they bump into each other again but don't realize who each other is. These are years apart and you can change who is traveling if you want. You can make up how they realize who each other is and then boom they fall in love again and they have to find a way for the other to stay with them .
