Part 30

Liam glares at Lydia. 

"He's not always like that! When we hang out he's different."

 Lydia looks at me for help. 

"Liam...Lydia's right he's dangerous, he's killed people." 

"So have they!" He says pointing at Thomas's friends. "They've killed people and you still trust them so why is Theo any different!?" 

"Because we're talking about Theo Raeken!" Lydia almost yells. 

"Now isn't the time to talk about this, we need to focus on how we're going to find Thomas." 

Isaac agrees with me. "Scott's right as much as I love the fighting we should continue this another time."

 "Well that didn't go your way." Someone said from just outside the room. 

We all turn and see Theo Raeken standing there with his stupid smirk on his face. "What the hell are you doing here Theo!? You know your not welcome." He rolls his eyes. 

"I was looking for Liam, he wasn't at home so I figured he'd be here."

 "Why were you looking for me?" Theo taps his watch and Liam's eyes widen. "We were supposed to meet today weren't we! Sorry I got distracted." He looks a little sheepish.

 "Scott can I...?" He looks towards Theo again. "Go ahead, your not going to miss anything."

 He smiles and walks over to Theo. "I'll be back...Tomorrow actually my parents are going to kill me for being away from home for this long." He says over his shoulder. 

Theo raises an eyebrow at us before Liam begins pushing him out of the room and down the hall. I hear Theo's laugh right before the front door closes behind them. 

I turn back to the rest of them and see Newt grinning. 

"What?" I ask and Newt turns to me. "Isn't it obvious, Liam has a crush."

 Woah woah woah what? Liam has a crush...on Theo?

 "On Theo?" He nods still grinning.

 "How can you know for sure?"

 His smile falters for a moment.

 "Because he looks at Theo like I looked at Tommy." 

He clears his throat and shakes his head. "We need to focus on how we're going to get to Tommy."

I see Minho and Sonya exchange a worried look and I'm guessing they're worried about Newt. 

"The buildings obviously going to have higher security and a different layout, we can't just walk in this time because we don't have Teresa."

 Brenda steps forward. "We should assume that Thomas is being held in the most secure part of the building and we may as well assume that Teresa is going to be there with him."

 Minho groans and let's his head fall onto Aris's shoulder. "I hate her, I really do."

 "We all do mate, but we can't kill her and that means we have to protect her until we figure out how to unlink her and Tommy."

 "If he's held in the most secure part of the building then who would have access?" I look at Kira wondering where she's going with this.

 "I'm assuming Janson and Ava Paige would have access along with some of their most trusted scientists."

 Kira nods. "Where do they live? If we can get to  them before they go into work we could find out whatever we needed to know from them."

 Brenda points at Kira. "She may be onto something, but they'd never willingly give us any information so we may have to use force...is that alright with your puppy pack Scott?"
