The Weasley twins (ironically born on April 1st) had always been a mischievous pair and very talented wizards from an extremely young age. For example when Fred was only five he transfigured three year old Rons teddy into a spider because he broke his toy broom (this most likely beeing the reason Ron is arachnophobic).
Again Ron obviously beeing Fred's target was given a sweet by nine year old Fred which unfortunately for him happened to be an acid pop burning a whole straight through his tounge.
On September 1st 1989 Fred and George started Hogwarts and like the rest of their family were sorted into Gryffindor along with Angelina Johnson and Lee Jordan.
Although these things may have been a great achievement this next thing really changed their lives... Their first prank at Hogwarts! It may have been as simple as letting a dungbomb off in the corridor but it led them to the Marauders Map. This map showing "Everyone. Where they are. What they're doing. Every minute. Of every day." And after this the mischief truely began.
