Part 4

eddies pov

my eyes finally closed as I lay my head back on the pillow. I rolled my eyes as my phone rings out loudly. I sit up slamming a hand against my head that's until I see  bucks name I put both hands on my phone and shoot it to my ear as I answer.

"buck" I almost shout down the phone for a moment there is silence. why would he ring me and not speak I think now standing up from the bed 

"buck" I shout again now slightly worried 

"lets go" I hear a stern voice say 

"brad" I shout still no answer from anyone. I can hear maybe buck crying on which makes my heart jump causing me to start putting my jeans back on with one hand 

"buck" I shout for the third time thats when I hear buck cry out 

"please stop" he shouts his voice trembling. that was all I need to make a run towards the door grabbing my keys from the near by cabinet and heading towards the car. I turn on the engine and race towards bucks house my phone now on the speaker in the car.

"buck" I shout again hoping to turn some attention to the phone. I hear a whipping noise and buck screaming my heart pauses as I step on the accelerator defiantly speeding now. As I near closer to bucks apartment I hear bucks screams fade and the whipping continue. when I finally pull up silence has filled the phone and I pause for a moment trying to pull myself together before I unbuckle the seat belt as I jump out my car brad storms out the apartment before jumping in his car and leaving. I quickly jump out my car and run up to the apartment 

"buck" I shout running through the door my eyes drawn to the glass scattered on the floor mixed with a pool of blood I stop and pick up bucks phone that is still on the call to me I end it and slide his phone in my back pocket. 

"buck" I shout again as my eyes scan the apartment my eyes focusing on buck tied up covered in blood 

"buck" I say running closer to him grabbing his face 

"Eddie you came for me" he says tears pouring down his face along with blood 

"off course I came for you" is say lifting his head up, his eyes meeting mine

"I love you" he mumbles before passing out again. I quickly untie him knowing brad could be back any second and sweep him up into my arms and run out towards my car. 

"buck I love you" I whisper to a unconscious buck as I lay him on the back seat of the car and race away. I don't know what to do. 

"what do I do"  I shout slamming my hands on the steering wheel as we stop at the lights. I quickly pull myself together remembering I have to be strong for him 

"I'm here buck , I have you I'm not going to let him hurt you ever again"  I mumble trying to hold in the tears that are now brimming in my eyes. the  firestation is closer than the hospital so I turn down the street. when I pull up at the front I jump out and quickly run round the car pulling buck in my arms 

"stay with me I can't loose you" I say kissing his head before running towards the firehouse

bobbys pov

"thanks for staying behind for a while after shift" I say to hen and chim as they help me clean up the breakfast plates 

"bobby ... bobby" a panicked voice rings through the station

"its coming from downstairs" him says as we run towards the banister. Eddie is running in with buck in his arms 

"shit .. Eddie what happened" I say running down hen and chim following as we reach them I take buck of Eddie who paces away before punching the firetruck 

"Eddie what is going on" I shout as hen and chim put him on the gurney 

"he's being abused by brad and I didn't fucking see it" Eddie shouts sledding down the side of the fire truck placing his hands on his head.  

"what omg" hen says as she examines his body finding new and old bruises 

"how could I have let this happen this is all my fault why did I not stop him from going home its my fault" Eddie mumbles as buck is loaded into the ambulance 

"are you going with them" I shout. Eddie quickly hops onto his feet and jumps in the back 

"stay with us buck" chim says checking all the monitors and all I could do was stand and watch as the ambulance raced away. 

eddies pov

I just sit and stare at him

"my buck what did I do" I mumble making hen and chim stop what there doing and look at me 

"what do you mean what did you do this wasn't your fault" hen says placing one of her hands on my shoulders 

" I confronted him about it when I saw some bruises at the end of last shift and he ran off . if I had stopped him maybe this wouldn't of happened" I say before letting out a cry 

"he's going to be ok" hen says squeezing her hand thats on my shoulder 

"I hope so I can't loose him" I mumble

"shit" hen shouts diving towards buck 

"drive faster" chim says banging the side of the ambulance as the monitor starts making beeping sounds

" were loosing him" hen says jumping on the gurney starting to do compressions.
