Part 20

We watched the first years walk in with amazement painted on there faces gazing at the beautiful side of hogwarts it was amazing to take in to be honest I remember getting sorted last year and meeting my new friends.
We heard dumbledores long boring speech and then dug into the food the best part of this school to be honest the house elves are fine chefs.
I unpacked my things and headed back into the common room and saw James and Sirius doing handstands against the walls and Remus and Peter studying a sat next to them.
"You lot studying already" I asked.
"Yes"
"No"
"What?" I questioned
"We're trying to figure out well here take a look" Mooney replies.
I examined the book they were reading before I interrupted.
"What's an animagus?" I Queried.
"Shush" they both silenced me.
"Just come to the library tomorrow and I'll tell you" Remus whisper-shouted.
Before the conversation could lead to anything else there was a massive tud, everyone turned around to see the sight of Sirius black on the floor crying silently and James was laughing. We all walked over to him and his side-chick helped him off the floor.
"Thanks love" he said still puling.
Rolling my eyes I went back up to my dorm and saw lily reading
"Hey" she said she got off her bed and closed her book.
"Hi Lilz"
"Did you check your new schedule?"
"No why"
"Well I want to see if we have any of the same classes"
I opened my bag and took out a piece of parchment
"Your not going to join the slug club? You've gotten really good at potions and professor slughorn really likes you"
"I don't know apart from you and a couple of hufflepuffs it's just loads of slytherins and witty ravenclaws"
"I know but it's really good for NEWTS and graduation, y/n you did the best in our year at owls last year, don't you want to become an auror"
"I DON'T KNOW LILY" I lashed out shit.
She stayed silent.
"I'm sorry for lashing out I just I think we all had a long day" I stuttered.
"Yeah okay sorry for pressuring you" she hopped back on her bed and pulled the duvet obviously a bit annoyed at me for shouting at her.
I did the same and fell asleep looking at the glistening moon.

The next morning I woke up to lily and Mary having a whispered-shouting argument. I leaned closer trying to hear what they were saying taking a quick look at Marlene sprawled across her bed, her blonde her tangled in a big massive mess. Then taking another look behind her king sized bed I saw dorcas combing her hair while reading, turning slightly back to lily and Mary I started listening to their conversation.

"Look.....I really like Sirius and if you went out with James-"

What did Mary just say....why was I feeling this jealousy I didn't like Sirius black right....
"I already told you I'm not going on a double date with James"
"Look lily please"
"Why would you even want to go out with him he a.."
She lowered her voice.
"A man whore"
I sniggered into my pillow to think lily evans the 'teachers pet' sweared. This was priceless.
"And I'm never going to go out with a toe rag" she raised her voice on the last two words.
Which surprisingly woke Marlene (Marlene a very deep sleeper).
"WILL YOU TWO SHUT UP ITS SIX O'CLOCK ON A MONDAY MORNING EITHER GO DOWN TO THE COMMON ROOM OR DO US ALL A FAVOUR AND SHUT THE HELL UP!!" She screamed which made lily flinch and Dorcas raise her voice.
"Never knew you could scream like that mars" Dorcas said.
"There's a lot of things you don't know I can do" she winked at dorcas and got up out of bed ,grabbed her robes and opened the bathroom door and strutted in the bathroom slamming the door. Leaving everyone star struck.
"Dramatic much" I muttered and dorcas laughed at my comment. Now that everyone was up I decided to do the same and get dressed brush my teeth blah blah blah.

After finishing my two foot essay for professor slughorn I was just about to pack my bags when I heard a big clunk, I grabbed my bag and rushed out of the dorm to find James on the floor. And Sirius and Remus laughing at him. I stepped over him and walked over to the others .
"Thanks for the help" he said getting up off the dusty floor shaking his robes to get the dirt off of them.
"Hello lady y/n" Sirius said bowing. I scoffed and walked past him.
"Don't you lot not know you can't go to the girls dorm unless your with a girl, haven't you not read the-"
"Lilyflower we're never going to read hogwarts history or whatever" James replied.
She was probably going to correct James or give out to him but Sirius started interrupting her with loud noises.
"BLAH BLAH BLAH" he shouted. Lily closed her mouth while rolling her eyes.
Sirius started walking towards me
"Still don't know how to tie a tie" he said.
"Still don't know how to shut your fat mouth"
He pouted "well that's not very nice lady y/n"
"Mmm I will be nice when you stop calling me that awful name pads" I picked up my tie off the couch but he snatched it out of my hand and started to tie it. *ive been in the situation before, it was with James I had to accept the fact he didn't like me, he liked...lily*
"All done" he chimed and stood back getting his bag of the couch.
"What do we have first" dorcas asked.
"I can't remember" I opened my bag and took out my schedule I opened it and felt breathing on my shoulder I quickly turned around and saw the red-head ginger.
"Sorry I didn't mean to scare you" he implied.
"You didn't scare me" stated.
"Double history of magic, divination, potions and dada!" Arthur exclaimed. "That's the worst Monday I've ever seen" he noted. We all groaned except Arthur who had already walked away to other fifth years. "Ugh professor binns is really getting on my nerve" dorcas moaned. "Why" I asked. "Why she says because he's a boring piece of shit" dorcas replied. Sirius scoffed, "I guess" I muttered.
Don't get me wrong professor binns was a boring piece of shit. Peter walked down the stairs from the boys dorm, and flopped on the couch. "Wormy we're gonna get breakfast you coming" Mooney called. "No" he some what mumbled into the couch cushion. "Can we go now, I'm hungry" James complained.
We all walked into the great hall and I exchanged glances with newt and returned a smile.
I sat next to lily and Marlene, and scooped out my beans and scrambled eggs.
Remus gulped all his food and leapt to his feet. "Where are you going" James catechised. "To class" said Remus, swinging his bag on to his shoulder. "We have fifteen more minutes though" I said. "I know I have to go drag Peter to class he's already falling behind, don't tell him I said that" he said grabbing a slice of toast and leaving.
"He is  such a mum" Sirius grumbled.
History of magic was tedious as always, listening to professor binn's drawling voice for two hours was probaly worse than going to Azkaban. I tried listening but I started playing hangman with Sirius on his parchment. Even lily was starting to fall asleep, drooling on her book.
"Won again" I bragged loudly. Everyone turned around apart from binns I swear he is a dope.
Homework was given and everyone started to leave the class. Until I got called by professor binns, was this because I shouted in class, shit.
"I'll wait for you outside" lily whispered.
"Horace slughorn would like to see you, I will inform Firenze that you will be late"
I walked out of the class and told lily I would see her later.
My grade have always been on point like I've never gotten a troll, nothing ever under a p right?
