Y/N'S POV:When I saw hogwarts my mouth dropped it was amazing I already knew this was going to be my new home. James whispered into my ear it's spectacular isn't it I slightly blushed his breath smelled like cinnamon and quidditch equipment when we got into hogwarts I split up with the boys I walked into the great hall with the first years as mcgonnagal explained everything that was going to happen when we walk in
M.M:Y/N since you are new and not going in to first year you will be sorted first.
I heard faintly through the great hall it was a speech the person saying the speech sounded old his voice sounded quite rasp than I heard my name being called by this voice and professor mcgonnagal nudged me into the great hall with her walking by my side I saw Remus and Sirius waving at me I gave them a weak smile and continued walking till I got on the platform Mcgonnagal placed the sorting hat on my head it began to speak the hats voice was boisterous I flinched a bit when it landed on my head it was unexpected I've never heard a hat talk before so I was a bit nervous
SORTING HAT:hmmm not a bad mind ambitious brave very well....
There was a pause I waited patiently hoping I would get Gryfinndor like the boys said
SORTING HAT:GRYFINNDOR
I got up and walked to the table James,Remus,Sirius and Peter were all clapping I sat down beside James and watched the other kids get sorted.
L.E:Congrats on making the best house I'm Lily Evans.
Y/N:Hi lily im Y/N Y/L/N I think we're roommates.
I looked at my schedule and she did the same we both laughed and said in unison yeah we're.
L/E:I can give you a tour of the school if you would like
I read my timetable for a second and said
Y/N:I would but I have to go with James
J/P:Oh yeah forgot about that prank I pulled last year
S/B:And you still got detention he said while stuffing his face with pork
Y/N:What did you do?

S/B:he blew up snivellus' suitcase for calling lily a-
L/E:He called my a mud blood
Y/N:That bastard can't wait to meet him so I can punch the living hell out of him.
James nearly choked on his peas
The feast ended and James and I got up early out of our seats so we wouldn't get caught in traffic in the halls.
