SIREN (사이렌) is a 7 membered South
Korean girl group under the music label,
TYU Entertainment. The group consists of
YUSEOL, SEOHEE, MIYA, NELLIE,
HYEWON, JIHYE and RIAN.

All of the members of SIREN were a part of
an external Survival Show titled 'Searching
for Mermaid' and fell victim to vote rigging
and producer favouritism. After finding out
that all 7 girls were supposed to be a part of
the 10 membered line up, they were taken
by complete shock and outraged.

The line up was allowed to debut despite all
the evidence so as form of protest, the girls
released a song together as an independent
group. This garnered national attention
immediately and swiftly seeped into the
international market not long after. Seeing
all the positive attention they were gaining,
they were then offered a contract with the
most popular entertainment company in
South Korea to debut as SIREN who are
now arguably the hottest rookie group.
