Tears fill my eyes. Flash backs start playing in my head. I couldn't breath. I was having another panic attack. I fall to the floor, holding my book bag to my chest. My sister kneeling next to me, trying to calm me down. "Breath, Aurora! Breath!" She yelled, taking my hand in hers.

I couldn't stop thinking about what had happened. My mother was killed and I was raped. How could I calm down when the same man that took my mother's life and took my virginity, was standing on the other side of the room. Even though he was handcuffed, it didn't make a difference. I still felt unsafe.

Just thinking about it made my breathing worse. The lack of oxygen finally got to me. I fainted on the court room floor.

(In her dream)

I got out of my friends car. "Bye, and hey tell your mom I said 'Hi.'" My friend reminded me.

I shake my head. "I will." I close the door, waving my arm as she drove off. "Bye!" I yell as her car disappears in the distance.

I was at my Mom's house to see how she was doing. I missed her. With me just starting collage, I didn't have that much time to see or talk to her. I was going to spend the whole weekend with her. Have some mother daughter time.

I walk up to the door and see that it's open. I freak out. I pull out my phone and dial 9-1-1.

"Hello, 9-1-1, what's your emergency?" A woman asks.

"I think there's someone in my mother's house." I whisper as I open the front door slowly. There's a sign of a struggle. I panic.

"Where is your location?" The operator asked.

I whisper the address and my name. I head to the living room first. There were pictures broken on the floor and a broken lamp. The couch had been pushed and the television was on the floor.

I put my phone in my pocket, leaving it on just in case someone tried to hurt me. I go to the stairs. Bam! Something fell. "What was that ma'am?" I hear from my pocket. I take out my phone and turn down the volume.

Putting my phone back in my pocket, I take a step up the stairs. Slowly I walked up them, trying to be as quiet as possible. I look around the corner to my mother's bedroom. I see a shadow move. 'Who is that?' I wonder as I start to walk down the hall.

"Mom?" I ask my voice shaky. I got closer to her room. I see blood all over. Then I walk to the doorway to see my mother lying on her bed, a knife sticking out of her back. Tears start to fill my eyes. I turn my head to see a man running at me. I turn to run away but it was too late. He grabbed my hair and pulled me out of my mother's room. He started looking in all the rooms until he found one with a bed in it. He yanks my hair and pushes my in, making me fall on the bed.

I turn to face the man. "Please don't..." My eyes widen when I see who it is. "Simon?" I cry as he comes closer.

He takes me by my hair and turns me around. 'Why was he doing this? I've known him for years. I don't understand.' He starts to take off my pants, frantically pulling at them. 'Oh no! Is he.... No I need to get my phone.' I thought as my pants fell to the floor.

"Please stop! Please! What did I do? Please just stop!" I yell as loud as I can.

"Shut up you stupid bitch!" He yells, turning me around and punching me in the face.

I fall onto the bed and Simon climbs on top of me. He sits on my legs and pulls down my panties. I start to cry. "Please stop! I'm a virgin! Please just stop!" The tears are almost pouring out of my eyes

"I said shut up!" He yells making me close my eyes.

This was it, I'm going to die or worse.... live. What was I going to do. I couldn't fight back. He was twice as strong as me. There was no one else around. I was powerless. I could do nothing to stop him.
