The whispers can be heard by Felix, The princess's personal guard but he stand still like he didn't hear anything from them

When all the nobles heard the announcement and after claude entered, all the nobles can be seen bowing down at the sight of him

" Felix, is everyone here? " Claude asked, while going down the stairs, he sat on the chair that was prepared for him and glared at the nobles who was still bowing

" Good, all of you can sit down now " After those words were said, all the nobles came sat down not wanting to anger their tyrant of a emperor

" The reason why I called you here is because The Agriche finally replied to my letter, when I offered to destroy their home, Lante offered a contract marriage " Claude smiled slyly

' so the reason of this meeting is to send one of our daughters to a contract marriage to those monsters?!? ' half of the nobles thought, they wouldn't want to be relatives as those 'monsters' that they mention

Claude's smile faded down, he didn't like the fact someone suggested to send his daughter to a marriage when she is still young to have a husband

" It was 'Jeremy Agriche' your majesty" Felix answered while he sweat dropped at the emperor when he forgot the groom's name

Then a fight started, it was about on who was gonna send their daughters to the 'monsters den' it wasn't much a bother to the emperor since he really liked people suffering after all

" Duke Alpheus, didn't you have a ward in your home? " Marquis Conrad asked, the nobles that were at the meeting was suddenly surprised about the fact a Marquis tried to provoke a duke in the noble meeting

" Yes... Is there something wrong with it? Marquis Conrad " It seemed like a normal question but Duke alpheus coldly stated the 'marquis' part to make the one provoking him remember about the difference of their status, the Marquis was a bit stunned but played off the act well

" Are you thinking of sending her? "

' I was planning on using her to the gain the emperor's affection but it'll be useless now since the princess was blocking the way.. ' Roger thought, it wasn't much a hassle but he doesn't know how to use jennette as a pawn now after all the princess was a big issue

And in the end, they all agreed to send Jennette margarita to the agriche for the contract that the agriche offered
