When I wake up Nikki isn’t there, but Jazmine and Jakob are talking and kissing in the corner. I lie there, and slowly pick up my phone. I dial the number 3 and call Nikki.
“KRIS,” She yells to me. “I’m at Joah’s, he’s high and I just locked my self in the bathroom. He’s got all my cloths. I’m scared. Please tell Jake to come get me!” she says. I hear a pounding on the door, through the phone.
“Okay Nikki, we’ll be right there, just stay in the bathroom if you can. Hold on Baby Girl.” I tell then hang up. “Hey guys I need to go for a walk. I’ll be right back okay?” I tell Jakob and Jazmine. They nod and smile at me, I walk out of the door and down to the elevator. I go to my truck and start it. I get to Joah’s as fast as my truck will allow me to. I burst into the house and see him standing there pounding on the door. He gets the door open and pulls sNikki out and he tears off her last bits of clothing.
“Hey, Dickbrain!” I yell at him. He looks up and Nikki scrambles around him and crawls over to me.
“Kris, why are you here?” She whispers, to me.
“What did you just call me wimp?” Joah says sauntering over to Nikki and I.
“I. Called. You. Dick. Head.” I say slowly for his retarded ass.
“Kris!” Nikki says beside me. Joah gets closer and I pick up my one crutch and hit him in the dick with it. He goes down and Nikki starts pulling me out of the house.
“Are you okay?” I ask as I get in the passenger seat. She just nods; she drives right past the hospital. “Where are we going?”
“Everyone is at the hospital and I need clothes. Will you help me clean up?” she asks, her voice shaky.
“Of course, Nikki.” I say calmly. She pulls into the apartment driveway and turns off the car.
“Thank you. Is there something I can cover with? I really don’t want to go out there naked.” She says. I smile and pull out a blanket, from under the seat. I give it to her and she smiles. We get out at the same time, and she tries to help me up the stairs.
“Stop, I can do it.” I tell her in the middle of the stairs. She smiles and nods. She gets to the top and waits for me.
“Are you okay? Are you hurt?” I ask her finally. We are in the bathroom and I’m watching her clean up the cuts and bruises.
“I’ll be okay. Do not tell Jake or Jazmine about this, you got me Kris?” she says sternly.
“Okay, I won’t. I promise” I say to her smiling. I hand her a pile of clothes and she puts them on.
When we get back into the hospital, Jake and Jaz are just standing up, probably to come find me.
“Where did you go?” they ask me.
“I sat down on a bench outside. It felt good to get some fresh air and I fell asleep. Nikki came and woke me up.” I lie to them.
“Oh, okay,” Jazmine says. “It’s time to lay back down Kris okay? If you’re falling asleep outside you need to rest more.”
“I agree,” Jakob and Nikki say at the same time. I smile and nod and lay down on the un-comfy hospital bed.
When Nikki and Jazmine leave to get lunch I sit up.
“Jake, I need to talk to you. I lied earlier. I when to go get Nikki from her asshole boyfriend; he was trying to rape her. He got really close. All her cloths are shredded. He tore them apart. And she has bruises and cuts everywhere. Jake you need to help her. Or else I’ll do something about it,” I say just as Nikki enters the room.
