The flame of your love
Burned so strongly I believed no wind could put it out.
I relaxed and so did my heart from all its worries.
It throbbed for you and that was all which mattered.
If a hurricane put out the flame I would have understood.
If a tsunami had your desire for me long gone,it would be comprehensible.
But just a little 'poof'
And that burning flame was gone.
It transformed into smoke, sneaking away with time.
I thought the blueness of your flame proved your sincere love for me,
But at last it was the first to disappear at the sight of the wind.
I asked questions from the east to the west. I engaged philosophers of great reputation but none was capable of telling me the reason for the brief nature of your love.
