"Thank you" she blushed before getting her bag, she paid me and headed for the door

I felt tingly when she smiled and waved at me.

'Maybe I should listen to her and try again'

I was leaving my shop at the mall when I heard a familiar voice "I guess I'm just in time" 

I turned around and saw Demi

"Hey, you wanted another tat?" I asked

"No, I wanted to walk and talk with you, I like your vibe and all. Maybe we can sit and continue our conversation?"

"Yeah sure" I said before opening the shop once again

"You didn't have to open up the shop again, we could have just-" I cut her off

"The mall is filled with people and I know you just want to relax and not have people and cameras being pushed in your face" I said

She smiled and nodded. I let her enter first before closing the door behind us

I turned on the TV in the shop and sat back on the couch, she sat beside me 

"What about you, do you have a boyfriend or girlfriend?" I asked 

"No, but I still think the right person is out there for me" she said playing with her fingers

"How will you know when the right person is here?"

"I don't know, I guess you'll feel something you've never felt with any of your exes"

I nodded

"Do you use dating apps?" I asked

"No. Mainly because I don't want my fans pulling any stunts on me" she said making me chuckle

"Well your fans are crazy" 

"Hey! I love my Lovatics, even if they are a little crazy"

"A little?" 

"Okay, maybe they are. This one time i was on stage and someone through their bra at me" she said and we both laughed "What about you, what was the craziest thing one of your clients ever done?"

"This one time a woman got her coochie tatted and I didn't want to but she begged me and I caved, when I was about half way into the tat she started shaking and soon she squirted on me. I was so pissed I kicked her out" I said cringing at the memory

"Ew" she replied before laughing which kind of made me laugh too, not at the situation but at her laugh

"Its getting late, I should get going" I said after we calmed down

"Yeah, I should get going too. But I'd like to do this again sometime. Friends?" She said handing me her unlocked phone

"Friends" I smiled handing her mine, I put my number in her phone before giving it back to her

2 years later

Demi and I are now best of friends, today is our 2 year best friend anniversary and I booked us a room at a fancy hotel, because tonight I plan on coming clean to her

I bought her loads of gifts but I'm nervous for tonight

"Hey Y/N/N. Happy bestfriendship anniversary!" She yelled running over to me

I hugged her back and greeted her back

"Hey Dems Happy bestfriendship anniversary. I got the whole day planned for us" I smiled down at her

After a fun eventful day, we got to the hotel and had dinner

We had just finished dinner when I spoke up

"I have something I've wanted to say for a long time but I've waited just for this moment" I said making her looking up at me with a questioning look 

"What is it? Did I do something?" She asked 

"God no, I just want to ask you something"

She nodded and looked a little more relaxed

"The moment we started talking at my tattoo shop I had a feeling that I wasn't too sure about, but over the two years we've been friends I'm sure of it now. I love you more than friends. I'm in love with you, I'm so it now over with you that when I close my eyes all I see is you and I don't want that to change but I do want you to be mine. Will you be my girlfriend?" I finished, by this 5ime was standing in front of her, we were both standing and she looked up at me with tears in her yes

"I have felt the same way about when I saw you in the tattoo shop. I'm in love with you too" she whispered before bringing me into a kiss
