Shougo woke up in his bed back in his human form. When he has a fever it's difficult for him to control his transformations so he will switch randomly.
"It's hot," he complain and pulled off his shit and threw the covers on him.
"Argh! Onii-chan, you need to stay warm!" Yui grabbed the covers and put them back in him. "Also... do you think you can manage your transformation for a little while since I was on the phone with Lala and accidentally told her you were ill and now she's coming over," Shougo sat up instantly his face redder than before.
"Y-y-you told her! W-why!" But then he fell back down again dizzy from how how quickly he sat up. "I can't see her! I don't like it! I don't like it!" He whined.
"What don't you like? What's yume wrong?" Yui wondered.
"I don't like what Father's doing! He's wrong! Wrong! Wrong!" Shougo yelled, pouting like a kid.
"What's he doing?" Yui knew he wasn't a good person but Shougo's never been so opposed to anything their father had done before. She also knew that when Shougo had a fever he became childish but was also very honest.
"He's using her, and I don't like, I don't want him to hurt her," Shougo confessed to Yui. "Because she's important, kinda like you Yui but it's different,"
"O-Onii-chan?" Yui felt weird. She felt slightly upset that Shougo had feeling like that for another person because he was all she had and seeing him like this made her feel jealous.
Before anything else could be said the door bell rang and Yui stood up to answer it.
"Yui, I brought some snacks," Lala grinned at the door. Yui smiled at her happily putting aside her conversation with Shougo for the moment.
"Great!" Yui let her in.
"How's Shougo doing?" Lala wondered. Yui's face darkened slightly but was back to normal quickly.
"He's a bit yume weird but he was awake before I answered the door," Yui told her honestly.
"Capisce, should we eat snacks first or check on him," Lala giggled.
"Might as well talk to the idiot while he's awake," Yui laughed as well. Lala nodded and went into the room Yui told her.
It was a plain room and there wasn't anything too personal in it. It made Lala feel kinda lonely, almost like it wasn't really Shougo's room and as though he was just a guest. The only thing Lala saw that wasn't basic furniture was a small box on the desk. It was decorated badly and looked like something a child would make.
Lala felt guilty but was curious about what was inside so she opened it and found a folded up piece of paper. When she unfolded it she saw a drawing of two stick figures holding hands and messy writing saying 'happy birthday Onii-chan'
"Lala," a slightly slurred voice said making Lala flinch. She carefully put back the picture and approached Shougo. "Why are you here? Is this a dream?" Shougo had completely forgotten his conversation with Yui earlier.
"No, I'm really here," Lala smiled down at him.
"I see..." he reached out his hand and grabbed her wrist. "I don't like it," he said again. "So I'll definitely have to protect you," he mumbled as he lost consciousness.
"Huh? What? Protect?" Lala stood there confused until Yui came in.
"Sorry, I was making us some drinks," Yui came in happily.
"Huh? Y-yeah," Lala said her face slightly red. Then Yui's face turned to shock and Shougo's wold ears appeared and were wiggling slightly.
"Yume! L-let's go into the kitchen since Onii-chan's asleep," Yui said dragging Lala away before she could see Shougo.
