Life under the water was so peaceful and beautiful, swimming with the most beautiful creatures and loving everything about it but, a part of her always wanted something more. Audrina had it all, she was living her dream or so she thought. One night she was laying in bed after completing her school work she decided to look into other ideas for career choices.
"This looks interesting" Audrina said "Acting not a bad price" she added "I have the money, maybe my parents will be on board with me learning something new, I mean what's the worst that can happen, they say no"
"Mom, Dad can we talk for a second?"
"Sure sweetie what's going on?"
"'I was thinking about doing something else I mean I enjoy Marine Biology but, I want to see what else is out there"
"What did you want to do?"
"I was thinking about acting school"
"Sweetie we just paid lots of money for you to do what you have always dreamed about doing now you want to put more money into something we don't even know you are going to enjoy"
"Dad, I know but I really want to try something different"
"I'm sorry honey but I'm with your dad on this one. It's a no"
Audrina didn't know what to do, She had nowhere to turn, she didn't understand why her parents denied her wish so she decided to do things on her own and take her life into her own hands.
Dear Diary,
I don't understand why my parents are acting like this. I'm 20 years old and I think I've been doing a pretty good job of making them proud before. Granted I know they pay for everything all my schooling and what not but, I want to explore other options. What's wrong with that?
The next morning Audrina got all her stuff ready to head to class well at least that's what she wanted her parents to think she was doing. Audrina cleaned out all of her life savings her parents had for her and booked a one way ticket to California.
Welcome aboard Southwest Airlines we will arrive at your destination in about 6 hours
Audrina went behind her parents back and just left, skipped out of town and to make it worse, she changed her phone number so nobody she knows can get in touch with her. She finally reached LAX, Once she stepped off the plane into a whole new world, it was like nothing she's ever seen before she was so excited to start her journey off to a new city finally being able to live her life without her parents.
Audrina's POV
I got to a hotel room and dropped off my bags, it wasn't the ideal living situation but it'll do for now. Walking around Los Angeles, seeing all the museums and the beauty of this city was magical. I have never seen anything so beautiful in my life. Being a small town girl being stuck in this bubble my parents kept me sheltered in just made me want to escape and even though packing up and leaving without telling them or even saying goodbye, changing my phone number and completely changing my whole life just for a shred bit of happiness that i can find on my own well that, that is just scary yet, really exciting to see what I can make out of myself here in the city where they say dreams come true.
I was walking around Hollywood boulevard when all of a sudden I noticed a familiar face. I didn't want to make an ass out of myself so, I just casually walked by and purposely walked into him
"Oh, excuse me I'm so sorry"
"It's perfectly okay"
"Hi, I'm new to the city just trying to find my way around"
