Ava and owen had been living together for a few months now and it was pure bliss, Ava couldn't remember the last time she had trusted and loved someone this wholeheartedly.
"Hey avs-" Owen called out as Ava shut her laptop, finished with her work for the day.
"Yeah babe?" She asked as she turned to see owen holding a giggling Tabitha who had paint all over her face and hands
"Someone needs a bath." He said causing ava to giggle as she scooped the toddler into her arms and took her towards the bathroom

"Babe?" Ava called out after she said as she walked into the kitchen, the lights were dim and candles littered the kitchen leading out to their backyard.
"Owen?" She asked as she exited the house to see the backyard decorated with twinkling lights while a gentle melody played out
"Whats all this?" She asked as he twirled her around, her face landing in his chest with a laugh
"I wanted to ask you something." He smiled as he pulled away
"We've been through a lot and we haven't been together the longest but they say when you know you know and I know that all those months I was without you, well I never want to do that again, ever." He said as he reached into his back pocket
"Owen-"
"What im asking, and I hope I'm not being a fool for it-"
"Will you marry me?" He asked as he produced a red velvet box before her, her heart stopped as she looked at him, love filling her as she nodded simply, tears filling her eyes as he laughed happily
"Yes?" He asked in confirmation, Ava assuming she spoke the words but she was too happy to care
"Of course I'll marry you!" She laughed as she pressed her lips to his heatedly and he spun her around
