I, Anamari FeCollins, do not own Taylor Swift's eighth studio album, folklore, in any shape or form. All rights go to the corresponding people.

I do not own any of the characters mentioned in the album, which includes Betty (Rebekah), James, Inez, and others. Leah was a character unnamed from the album, so I just gave her a name to complete the character, same goes for Wade.

All characters who appear in the novel are purely fictional and not based on anyone in real life.

I do not know Rebekah Harkness or anyone who knows her personally, nor do I know of her teenage years. The characters James, Inez, and Leah are fictional, therefore, this is in no way what Harkness had experienced during her time. All information regarding Harkness in relation to the story are sourced from the Internet and my imagination.

Betty may or may not be Ms. Rebekah Harkness. The storyline is purely fictional and is in any shape or form not based on reality.

I do not know Ms. Taylor Swift and her family or anyone who knows them personally in any way. What was said about Ms. Swift and her family was all based on the Internet.

I do not know Robert Joffrey or anyone who is associated and knows him personally in any way. What was said about Mr. Joffrey may not be true and is from the Internet and my imagination.

I do not know anyone listed in this story. Them as my characters might have a different personality in real life compared to those within my interpretation. The events that happened might not match up with history and location.

Chapter 11 "epiphany" might trigger unwanted reminders of war, violence, and death. If those things trigger you easily, it is advised to stop reading the second you feel any form of discomfort or skip the chapter as a whole. Further trigger warnings are listed above.

There might be some errors and speculation regarding which website is telling the true story, but all the information gathered within the story is what I have found.

"the last great american dynasty" is my interpretation of the album based on an idea from a Reddit post, which is reposted by @/SwiftCamzz on Twitter, then @/swiftiforit on Instagram, and the "folklore" album.
