"It won't be a surprise if I told you earlier." He said while taking his coat off.

"How's your flight?" I asked him. "Wala ba akong pasalubong?"

"Sabi na e, 'di mo man lang ako tatanunin kung namiss ba kita o ano," he pouted acting like a child.

I rolled my eyes, "alam ko naman na yung sagot don," we chuckled.

He opened his luggage that are full of food and snacks. Taray madaming pagbibigyan. My eyes were open-widened when I saw what he got for me. It was dark chocolate, my favorite.

"Seryoso? Akin to? OMGOMGOMG!" Agad kong tinanggap kasi baka bawiin pa niya.

"Ti penso tutto il tempo," he said before hugging me.

It lasted for five minutes. We are interrupted because of my secretary who didn't knock. Lim coughed and composed his self. I looked away.

"Jassi, I said knock first before you enter." I seriously said.

"I'm sorry, sir." She apologized to me. "Sorry din po, sir" she bowed to Lim.

I raised a brow to her, waiting for her to explain why she is here. She looked at me and realized that she has something to tell.

"You have an urgent meeting, sir. About the Paradise Palace sa Clark." She said.

"What? Okay, meet me at the meeting room."

Akala ko ba next week pa 'yung meeting na 'yon? I'm rushing to fix my things. Actually, I'm panicking but Lim held my hand and calm me down.

"Hey, why are you so nervous?" He asked sincerely.

"I don't know, I honestly don't know," I explained.

"Calm down, okay? You can do this." He hugged me and caressed my hair.

Lim is right, I can do this. I looked at him and smiled. He changed a lot.

"Thank you, suit yourself here. Let's have dinner later." I said while walking outside my office.

Nagmamadali akong pumunta sa meeting room. Nang makarating ako sa may pintuan, huminga ako ng malalim at pumasok na sa meeting room. On the left side, the board of directors were sitting there. On the right side, the engineers and architects were sitting.

I sit in the middle.

"Are we still waiting for someone?" I asked.

The door suddenly opens and all the people looked at the guy who's in the door holding the doorknob.

"I'm sorry for waiting  you all, it's very unprofessional of me," he said. I can't see his face, the light is too bright to see him. K-drama yan?

When he started walking to his seat, I can see his face.

It's

Him.

Napatayo ako sa gulat. I'm not expecting him to meet again. They looked at me, also shocked by my expression. But he looks like he didn't care. I looked at them and composed myself.

"I'm... I'm sorry for that, we can now continue this meeting," I said.

We started the meeting 30 minutes ago. Now we're just taking our break for 30 minutes. I take a sip of my water. I can't stop but look at him. He looked so... happy.

"Focus," I whispered to myself.

I looked at the portfolio and find myself impressed. They have works that are being done nicely. The design looks so professional. While waiting for the others, I decided to use the restroom for a while. Kanina pa ako nagpipigil ng ihi.

Lumabas na ako sa restroom at pabalik na ako sa meeting room nang biglang may naka-bangga sa akin. I looked at him and my eyes widen.

"Don't block my way," he simply said.

I'm sorry.

'Yon yung gusto kong sabihin but not even a word came out on my mouth. I'm just looking at him. It's been a while since I've seen his face.

A lot has changed.

Even us.
