Sure, Midori was used to hanging around boys but there was still this part of her that missed hanging out with girls. Especially those friends she had left in London. Those friends who she'd gossip and giggle with, those friends she'd share her crushes with and talk smack about her worst enemies with.
Granted, she could do that with Naito and the rest of the boys, but the effect was not the same.
'Woah,' Naito commented as soon as they walked inside the building. 'It smells like an airport here.'
'Is that good or bad?' Jay asked.
'It. . .' Naito cut himself off. 'It is.'
'What━?'
'Yes.'
'NI-KI,' Midori laughed, bringing the younger boy in for a hug.
Weeks had passed since she last got to fully see him, and somehow his presence created a warmth to spread inside of her; one that rested in the familiarity of him and his personality.
'Did you sleep well?' Ni-ki asked, head on her shoulder.
'I slept like a baby; if the baby got thrown out of the window in the middle of the night,' Midori answered, giving the younger boy a small smile.
'Okay, Ni-ki,' Naito cut in, peeling Ni-ki off Midori like he was glue.
'Stop hogging my sister,' he continued, emphasising the 'my sister' part.
'Why━' Ni-ki whined, Midori only standing awkward beside the two boys, watching them bicker about her.
