This novella was written for the ONC 2021 contest using prompt (68). You can find this prompt in the ONC 2021 story, but it is recommended not to look the basis for this story up. Log 01 marks the 2000 word counter for this contest.
It's an emotional, atmospheric adventure in an empty sci-fi world. If there's any one song to listen while reading this, I strongly recommend Everglow by Starset. Any song of them does it, really, for they are the masters of atmospheric, emotional sci-fi themed songs. Otherwise, get an emotional/epic music mix by Epic Music World or Pandora at YouTube, they're fantastic.
