The rusty pages of The Strange Case Of Dr. Jekyll And Mr. Hyde sat in Junipers hand as she flipped through the glorious mystery the book encased. Although she had read this beautiful story many times, her heart still beat in her chest as the cases got more and more complex, and the characters's character development grew. She was always a mystery lover, loved solving those puzzles and see the gears turning in characters head. Surprisingly, her mind drifted elsewhere, and landing back onto someone who caught her undivided attention. Chiara was this goddess of a human. her lovely brown eyes made her stomach clench and made Juniper's head twist and fog up. She loved her girlfriend through and through, but she was late. Every. Day.
"Tesoro!" Juniper heard the lovely sound of Chiara's silk voice. Juniper's cheeks tinted just slightly bright red. But, against all odds she said nothing. She just continued to flip through the pages, occasionally biting her lip out of focus. It was very hard to focus when all she heard was,
"Amore! Sweetie! I'm sorry for being late again! Honeyyyyy!" Juniper heard Chiara start to whine. But something turned her cheeks flaming, making her yelp.
Chiara grabbed her chin and looked at her with the biggest smirk she ever saw her make, "Princess~"
Juniper shoved her off, but not before giving her a light peck on her perfect lips.
"Before you ask, I'm reading a mystery. I know you hate mysteries so I can find a different book if you wan-"
"No! I want to read what you want. We always read what I want."
"A-ah... a-alright.......s-s-stellina"
A gasp shoved its way out of Chiara's throat as she beemed. "Grazie angelo mio" and they sat on the floor, cuddling silently as Chiara complained about the lack of romance in the story and was met with small pecks on her cheek from Juniper.
