Winwin's POV

"Guys, do you know why Winwin's smiling so hard at his phone?" The not-so-quiet whispers of Hendery drift over to my ears.

"He is? Interesting, that's unusual," the not-so-quiet voice of Xiaojun responds. I look up and see both of them, peering around a wall.

Hendery quickly straightens up and grabs Louis. "Louis, you're so cute!" Xiaojun gives him a look and pretends to be admiring a random picture on the wall.

"Hello?" I say. It comes out as more of a question. Yeah, I think I know what they were doing, but I'll pretend not to, just because they were so helpful the other day at our performance.

"Oh, hey, we're just kinda walking around. What are you doing?" Xiaojun casually asks.

"Um, nothing much-" I get cut off by a loud ping from my phone.

"He's texting someone!" Hendery squeals, then runs away.

"Wait! What if it's Chunli and he needs help?" Xiaojun calls, not joining the other.

"Come on, you know he wouldn't be smiling at his phone if it were her!" the distanced voice of Hendery calls.

Xiaojun, realizing that his dormmate just exposed both of them for spying on me, disappears in the blink of an eye. Cool.

With the spies gone, I unlock my phone. Oh, so Chunli didn't kill Chunmei, because she's texting me right now. That's good, I guess.

It strikes me that I've only known Chunmei for less than a week, yet it feels like we've been acquainted for much longer.

Then I realize that I know basically nothing about her, except that she's my ex's sister and a pretty cool person that I can most likely trust. Oh, and that she's Chinese, from America, and learning Korean.

I swear, if she turns on me, we're going to have trust issues. But that probably wouldn't happen, considering that we seem to have a common hatred towards Chunli.

Well, I guess I'm ready to learn more about my partner in crime.
