Dear Diary,

As always the skies are dull awaiting the inenvitable storm thats brooding over lakeside, home to the Hallow Hall aka this damn hell hole im forced to live in till im eighteen.

My mum and dad died when i was 6, they were in a car accident .The crash was investigated when they found that the brake wires were cut, but eventually everyone forgot. Except me. Ever since then ive been stuck here,

Mrs Layton, the head mistress here thinks that me writing about my feelings in a book will help. I think not.

Urggh, how long can i stare at the same four walls! Ive been here at Hallow Hall for 10 years now and its still the same old rountine. Get up, go to school, come back and go to bed. Where does this nightmare end. The only thing that keeps me sane in this place is laila, my bestfriend. Speaking of she should be shouting up right about ... Now.

"Kim , get your ass outta bed - we need to get going, NOW !"

"Can't we skip, Im tired"

"NO!!" She hollered as she walked through my door with ice water. Shit!

"Im up! Im up! Dont you dare throw that at me"

The grin on her face said it all.

" be downstairs in 10 minutes or i will be giving you an ice bath" she said slyly swinging the bottled water around.

As soon as laila went out the door i mad e a run for my closet. I knew better than to think the blond hair blue eyed girls threat was fake. I didnt really fancy changing my clothes twice today.

I made it downstairs in 6 minutes, just enough time to grab a pop tart from the kitchen. Being short on time i decided i'd leave my choclate brown hair down in its natural waves to my mid-back and go for the casual look, jeans and a tee saying 'yummy'(come on you gotta agree thats cute)

Just as i got to the door i saw Laila waiting impatiently tapping her foot at the side of my car. On my sixteenth birthday i splashed out on this gorgeous red chevy truck and driving lessons with the money my parents left me behind. I was the only teenager that owned a car at the hall. Just as were about to hop in Mrs Layton shouted from her window "girls!Hurry you are going to be late"

With that i backed out the driveway and to school.

We just arrived in time as the last few were heading in the doors.

"Kim, remember its adoption evening tonight, apparently the guest list is full of families . Just think tonight our luck could finally change!" Laila rambled on excitedly, but shes right i had forgot.

"Okay, meet me here after school then"i turned away heading towards school, Lakeside High home to the mighty jaguars (like i care) back to back soccer champions. Little did i know this would be my last day here.
