That statement is absolutely preposterous and utterly wrong.
If you're gonna say that to someone who's suffering, then you're mad and perhaps you need psychiatric help. There's no fun in invalidating someone just because you have it worse or if you think that someone is suffering "more" than the other person. We all suffer and I know that it's just wrong to invalidate people.
I have stupid fucking father but I don't go around telling that to everyone who has a problem with their family even though they're a complete family. That's what we call respect, you fucking insensitive pricks.
Just let people feel sad or whatever about their problems.
