Chapter 8: Jaune Arc

"I keep asking 'Why her?'" Jaune said coldly but full of regret and guilt.

"There's no Rhyme or reason to this life. Its days like today scattered among the rest" Roman said

"Are you sure?" Jaune asked straight after.

"Don't blame yourself," Roman said with a Solem look in his eye.

"Yeah Jaune, Dont blame yourself... It wasnt your fault that I died" Ruby said 

"What are you really doing here, Roman?" Jaune asked and it took Roman a second to reply.

"Just checking upon an old friend," He said before holding his hand out. "Goodbye Jaune," He said as Jaune shakes his hand

Jaune then could be seen back at his place looking out a window, as people were around as this was after the funeral. Soon enough everyone was gone and Jaune was walking to his lounge room to finish cleaning up until he heard the doorbell and he answered it.

"Jaune Arc?" The Delivery woman asked.

"Yes?" Jaune answered and the woman hands him a clipboard

"Sign here please," She said and Jaune does so "And the pen," She asked and he looked at the pen. 

"Oh Sorry," He said as he hands it back.

"Here you go, goodnight," The Lady said as there was a Pet carrier on the ground. 

"Thanks," He said as the woman left and Jaune picked the Carrier up and sets it down on the coffee table. He sits down as a Dog could be seen in the Carrier but couldn't be seen well due to the shadows. He sighs as he picks up the note and opens it to see Ruby's Logo on the card. He Breathes deeply before opening it with shakey hands and Ruby's Voice could be heard.

"Jaune, I'm sorry I can't be there for you. But you still need something, someone to love. So start with this. Because the Car doesn't count. I love you Jaune. This Illness has loomed us for a long time and now that I have found my peace, find yours. Until that day. Your Best Friend. Ruby." The note read as Jaune could be seen Crying. The screen then shows the dog, who was Zwei in the dog carrier looking down sadly. Jaune cries as he kisses the note before pulling Zwei out of the Carrier and looking at the Dogtag. "Zwei... Of Course" He said with a small chuckle as Zwei licks him. 

Zwei Jumps on Ruby's Lap and Ruby pets her as many of the people in the Theatre were crying.

"Since when were you a sentimental Writer" Weiss asked annd Ruby nods

The Scene changes to Zwei laying on the bed as Jaune comes in with a Blanket. "Hey" He said quietly and sighs. "Come on" He said as Zwei needed to be lifted down and he laid on the Blanket as Jaune got into bed and turned off the light. The Scene changes to morning as Zwei could be seen Licking Jaune.

Most giggle at it

"I'm up, I'm up," he said before his alarm beeps. Jaune tries getting out of Bed but Zwei keeps jumping on him, wanting to give him affection. Jaune then could be seen opening the front door and Zwei running out to do his business. "Hey" Jaune said a bit louder then realised. "Oh... Right" He said as he picked up the newspaper as Zwei ran inside after finishing. They got to the kitchen and Zwei whimpers as Jaune gets some Cereal For Zwei and himself and pours milk into both of them. "We'll grab you some kibble later" He said as Zwei starts eating.

Jaune then could be seen walking down the hallway in his house putting on a leather jacket and grabbed the keys as Zwei followed and Jumped into the passenger seat as Jasune sat in the drivers. Jaune turns on the car and opens the garage door before petting Zwei and drove out. Jaune then could be seen filling up his car with gas as a Car drove up with loud hip hop music. They pull up at the gas station and they get out and one of the men spoke Russian (Or Minstral) they then speak Russian as one of them that looked familiar could be seen lighting a cigarette.
