" What the hell happened to you?" Aria quickly pulled her red and black cover over her face. The sun light shined Brightly into the medium size room. "Ariana!? When did you get home? I found dot at the back of the house once you went into the woods. I just figured you wanted to stay out in the woods because I know how much you love it but once I didn't hear from you I got worried. I went out to find you!" She said standing in the door way. "Where the hell were you!!?!" She demanded as she sat next to arias covered body. "Ariana!" She hollered as she yanked the cover off her. Groaning she kept her eyes shut. The sun light was really bright. "What did you do? Roll in the dirt?" She waited for an answer. " You know what," she said as she threw her hands in the air as if she was surrendering. "I'm not even going to question you." She said as she walked out of the room before popping her head back in "Oh, don't ever! Do that again! You Had me scared!" and with that she slammed the door behind her. Aria took a deep breath as she tightened her eyes more. those blue eyes flashed inside her head, his harsh voice ringing in her ears, she felt as if his grip was still around her. Every second felt like it was getting tighter and tighter. She shot out of her bed so quickly she fell to the pink carpet that was waiting to catch her. Letting out a breath she turned over and pulled her head up to look around the room. She was breathing heavy and her body was extremely hot. Her brown eyes scanned her room several times before she made the smallest move. Her clothes was stained with dirt and she was barefoot. She slowly got off the floor and walked over to her mirror. She starred at herself, still fright on her face. Dirty smeared all over it. Her hair looking like a rats nest. She looked like a mess. She couldn't really think but yet images ran through her head. Last night? The fire? The house? The people? Was it really burning? She starred at herself with a confused face. How could it be a dream if she looked like this? Then that feeling hit her all over again. His warm body, his eyes, his strength, his speed. Obviously it was real...she turned around and leaned up against her mirror. She closed her eyes and steadied her breathing. She felt a warm breeze wash over her body. She snapped her eyes open and they landed on her balcony glass doors that was open. Every night she closes them but every morning they always seem to be open again. This feeling? Like something calling her over. She walked to her balcony. As she stepped out into the fresh air she gasped. Her eyes widened and she looked straight up into the night sky. The moon was shining so bright that it looked like something out of a movie. She turned around, her rooms nightstand light was on. The bed was a little different than she had left it just a minute ago. She turned to face the cool breeze that was coming from the north. Turning her head back around her eyes sharply focused on a certain sound coming from inside the woods about 20 feet away. She gasped as he ran out of the woods, exactly where her eyes was laid. His eyes was brightly blue and she lost her breath when she had realized it was HIM carrying Her. Aria blinked her eyes to see if they were playing tricks on her. They weren't. He was coming up on her fast and she could have sworn he could see her but she guessed not because the moment he reached a few feet away from her balcony she hunched down behind the railings pushing herself against her roses. There was a thump and she still couldn't seem to catch her breath as she starred in shock at the black haired man standing in front of her on her balcony. She realized now he was holding herself bridal style. He had a pretty good grip on her that made his muscular arms show. She was past out cold. Her throat felt closed in and she couldn't get anything out. He walked in the room and aria slowly crawled to look through the crack of the balcony door. Softly laying her on the bed he just stopped and starred. He's eyes was glued to the girl he thought he didn't save. The one he was suppose to protect but failed. The reason he actually became a heartless monster. His body felt as though his muscles where shredding underneath his skin. He felt cold but yet his heart felt like it was warming up. He felt in desperate need to just wake her up and look in her eyes. Gravity felt like it was decreasing on him. He felt calm but also wanted to take someone's head off. The breeze made him breath normal and gave him peace knowing she was now safe. He knew he should turn around and go back to the pack and leave her alone. She needs to continue on with her life like she has been doing. He knew it would be dangerous for her to come back after all these years and have her get killed. Why did her mother want her to fight against the law of our people? He didn't understand but one thing was clear, Nothing would harm her as long as air came from his lungs. He carefully took off his necklace that was his mother's, it was something she had given him before dying. His mother told him "This will always protect you, my son." He quietly placed it inside her pillowcase. Softly he grabbed the covers and pulled them over her. He's eyes was glued to her. He couldn't take all this emotion he was feeling about her. He felt warm, like he could hear the peaceful sound of a beach. His eyes narrowed as he spotted a cut just below her collarbone. He felt his heart ace from just a cut she had. Hoping he wasn't the reason she got it and hoped he didn't squeeze her to tight to hurt her. He bent over her and brushed some of her hair out of her beautiful, squared jawline, face. He softly brushed his hand against her warm cheek. All I would do is get her killed he thought to himself. His heart still aching knowing that all he could offer her is trouble and death. He wasn't a good person and he definitely wasn't someone to protect another. And knowing now she is alive from the last mistake he made, he wasn't gonna put himself and her back in that position. If anything he would make sure she would stay far away from him and the others. He needs to stay away from her...if that's even possible. Aria watched from the outside breathlessly. Surprised she hasn't died yet from lack of oxygen. She felt as if there was a big weight on her chest. Who is this guy and what is he? He softly kissed her forehead, in a way he knew, he'd never see or meet her again. It made him shake and gasp for air like a flopping fish out of the water. He walked to the balcony doors as aria pushed further back, this time feeling the thorns. He turned back around. He's beautiful ocean eyes were sharply on her sleeping body. I can never meet this girl he thought to himself. I would be leading her to her death if I did. Pain shining through his eyes as he couldn't move, no matter how hard he tried. He knew this would probably be the last time he would be this close to her. He tried to grab a hold of his emotions and contain them but they were out of control. This is not like me, I need to turn this all off. I don't need to feel this! I'm a monster. A tightness had his stomach, he had a pounding inside his head that made him want to scream, and his chest felt like it was caving in. How could he even feel this way about someone that could have him killed, someone that made him kill his own brother, disobeying his Father, the Alpha, the one that made him turn his back on his own pack, the ones he knew he would have to lead some day. He was trusted by many. He should have killed her a long time ago. He should have brought her straight to his father. But yet he's standing in this door way wanting to wake her up, hold her, and to protect her from everything.. These feelings was strange to him but yet he wanted to feel more of it. He wanted it to wash over him more deeply... if that were even possible. Howling in the distance made him snap back to reality. With as much pain he felt to leave, he knew he had to. He forced himself to look at her one last time and with that he jumped off the 4 foot balcony and took off into the woods. Aria was now standing to her feet and kept her eyes where she had lost sight of him from the trees. In a strange instant it was sunny again and there were birds singing in the distance. The ray of sunlight hit her skin so warmly. She felt confused. Her eyes rest on the spot she had last seen him. Nothing makes sense. She thought to herself. Quickly she ran to the side of her bed, with her hands shaking, she reached for her pillow, scrabbling to find it and she did. Right where he had left it. It was round with a marking upon the necklace. So none of this is a dream. Her fingers lightly moved across the cut underneath her collarbone. Shivers went all the way down her spine. She was aware it was dangerous to go back in the woods but she was determined to find him again. To find out who and what he is. She stepped back out onto the balcony and starred into the woods. She slightly tilted her head. she heard a small sound that seemed to be getting louder as she tilted it more and more. It now was a clear sound of a wolf's howl that sounded more like some guys cry of pain, sorrow and frustration. She felt as if she had some type of deep connection with the cry. Like it was a cry out for her.
