Percy

So, when me and Sparky were told that we were to be 'sorted', I definitely didn't expect to be told to sit on a manky stool while the lady, who had introduced herself as Professor Mcgonagall, placed an even mankier hat on our heads. Right about now, Wise Girl would be correcting me by saying that 'mankier' isn't actually a real word, gods I miss her so much.

"So, the two who crashed through our ceiling earlier are called Percy Jackson and Jason Grace," Dumbledore began, and yes he did get our full names out of us, "they will be sorted and will be joining the fifth years. Think of them as exchange students."
Everyone remained silent, apart from toad woman in the corner, who we had been told is called Professor Umbridge, but I refused to call her that, who was doing an annoying cough as she tried to get Dumbledore's attention. Dumbledore ignored her and went on, "First up is Percy Jackson."

I walked forward and sat on the stool and Mcgonagall placed the hat on my head.
Ah, a demigod, I haven't had one of those before.
I almost leapt out of my skin as the hat continued, Now where to put you...you have bravery, that much is certain but where to put you...
Can anyone else hear us? I asked, trying not to feel stupid while doing so.
No, the hat replied and I relaxed.
So, perhaps Slytherin, you have ambition...but no, perhaps Hufflepuff, you are certainly loyal...but no, perhaps not.
The hat paused for a second before announcing, to everyone this time, "Better be...GRYFFINDOR!"

The red and gold coloured table cheered and I made my way over to them. I sat down and it didn't escape my notice, yes I can notice things, that a boy who looked like a skinnier version of me, was glaring at me. And for that I decided to nickname him Skinny Me. With that thought, I turned back to the front, where Sparky was about to be sorted.

Everyone at the table cheered, but not as loud as me, as Jason was sorted into Gryffindor as well. I was glad that he was with me, that way we could navigate through this weird ass school for wizards together.

Jason sat down in the seat next to me and, as Dumbledore announced that the feast can begin, he muttered in Greek, "Why is there a skinnier version of you? And better yet, why is he glaring at you?"
"No idea," I replied, still in Greek, and then I realised something, "Dude, how are we going to sacrifice to our parents?"
Jason shrugged, "They can't blast us as its not our fault that we can't sacrifice to them. They will just have to go without a sacrifice for the time we are here."
"Let's explore tomorrow," I said, "Find out more about where we really are, and if there is any way for us to escape."

The only thing we had been told is that we were at Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry. But we still had no idea where in the world we were, Jason was guessing the UK because of the accents. It didn't matter as tomorrow we were going to find out more information, and then I can get back to my Wise Girl.

Harry

I glared at the back of Jackson's head as he began talking to the other boy, Grace. I tried to listen in but, from what I could tell, they were speaking in a different language, one I didn't know. That was going to make things difficult if I didn't know what they were saying.

I decided that I'd ask Hermione tomorrow, as she was bound to know what the language was. But I would ask her away from prying ears, somewhere safe. It wouldn't be the Common Room as now Jackson and Grace were now in Gryffindor so we shared the same Common Room. But I was going to find out and then I was going to expose them to the rest of the school.
Watch out, Jackson, Grace! You are going down!
