16. Everything seemed to be going right

"Fine, fine promise."

I trust him- I think so I let go and fell straight on my ass.

"Rafa! You were supposed to help me." I said hitting his leg.

Third Person POV

They have been at the ice skating rink for two hours now.

Y/n finally got a hold of it and started skating on her own.

She was about to get off the ice when her watch rung signaling it was time to leave. She had to get the (turkey/ham) out of the oven.

It'd been there since last night since it takes a while to fully cook.

"We have to go!" She told the group.

They all took of their skates and out regular shoes on.

Once they were all in the car Y/n started it and turned on the radio. (Ik it didn't come out yet just go with it)

A song called 'Stormy Weather' started playing.

"She sounds just like Emmy!" Y/n noticed.

"Wait a second- that is Emmy!" Vanessa told them.

"I'm going to call her, right now!" Jasmine said pulling out her phone and dialing Emmy's number.

Emmy: Hello?

Jasmine: Emmy! You didn't tell me you recorded a song

Emmy: Oh yeah, it's for a tv show. I guess I just forgot

Anthony: This is huge congrats!

Emmy: Aww, thank you

Lin: Vanessa and I said congrats too- oh and also Y/n! She can't talk because she's driving

Emmy: *laugh* so you guys are hanging out without me?

Jasmine: Aww, shut up. You still coming tonight?

Emmy: Yah, I'll be there

Jasmine: Kk, just checking bye!

Emmy: Bye!

Nobody said this, but they all wished Daveed was here with them. So they could celebrate these big moments together.

It was going to be hard, but they will get through it.

Y/n POV

As soon as I got in the guest room my phone started ringing. I wonder who it is.

Oh no. It's my boss. What did I do wrong?

Boss: Hey Y/n!

Well they're awfully cheery today. I wonder what's gotten into them.

Y/n: Hi! What happened?

Boss: There's nothing to worry about. It's actually very good

Y/n: Really? What is it?

Boss: Vogue wants to interview you, Amalah, Marissa, Kye and Johan! Y/n this is big!
