9.Summer 1992: Mudblood and Blood Traitor

AN- I feel terrible I am so sorry I haven't got a chapter out in like a month. I've been having some mental issues recently but I'm trying.

A week later the family of gingers rustled out the door throwing goodbyes behind them. The had stay a week longer than expected.

Me, Ron, Fred, and George sent bunches of letters to Harry(which he has yet to respond to) the three decided to fly Arthur's flying Ford Anglia to go save him.

I started to miss Ginny almost immediately, over the week I had decided that I had a crush on her which was weird because I've never felt like that towards anyone before.

I got butterflies when she looked at me and felt my face flush red when I thought or talked about her. I've been trying to figure out how I was gonna tell her and I hoped that she felt the same way. "Wotcher dreamer" I heard behind me interrupting my daydream.

"Heya" I said looking slightly embarrassed. "We need to go to Diagon Ally to get school stuff." Tonks said grabbing her leather jacket "Lemme grab my money and change" I had learned that I could take my muggle money to Gringotts and exchange it for 'magical money'.

I quickly threw on a dark green sweatshirt   and black jeans with a chain latched on to a hook near the belt loop. I grabbed my  wallet and shoved it in my pocket. I also quickly braided my hair with a spell Molly had taught me.

We walked to Diagon Alley (we had to go into the leaky cauldron and do the whole shebang). I looked at the wonky colorful buildings in amazement. "Lets go" Tonks said, walking into Gringotts. An hour had past and my hands were full of everything I needed for my new year.

We walked into Flourish and Blotts (our last shop) to see a gold haired man signing copies of books. I got a quick glance at one of the books 'Magical Me by Gilderory Lockhart.' I saw Harry, Ron, Hermione, Molly, Fred, George, and Ginny scuttle in.

I walked over to the group "Abbie!" Hermione said, pulling me into a hug. "Hey mione" I said hugging back. I gave a hug to every one when I reached the twins I had to go up on my tip-toes.

We shuffled to the front of the line trying to get up there so we could but out books Gilderoy, I quickly came to realize was very full of himself. He announced that he would be taking the roll of DADA teacher for the upcoming year. He also pulled Harry up to the front to get his books for free.

Tonks and I quickly bought me some books and hurried as fast as we could. I saw two cold faces stroll over the Flourish and Blotts. "Well, well if it isn't the filthy little mudblood and her blood traitor 'mum'" Draco Malfoy said in a piercing voice, he made sure to throw air quotes on the word mum.

The other man had to have been his father, he had the same grey eyes and brooding look. "Draco, don't test me." I said looking him directly in the eye. "What are you going to do, tell mummy?" "Oh wait......" he made sure to add. "I  honestly don't have time for you" I said walking away "Hey better buy some bleach, your roots are growing in." I threw behind me.
