"We're going along with the plan right? Is Gilda and Don getting ready yet?" Emma asked sternly, though something was lingering in her mind. The answers she received from Norman also drowned in her mind.

She put both of her hands between Ray and Norman, signaling for them to quiet down and let her talk "Guys.. shouldn't we tell [ Name ] about this? I mean they have some amazing physical built.. don't we have a bigger advantage with having them?" Norman's lips curled down into a frown, while Ray avoids eye contact with the both of them.

Ray nudges Norman's shoulder, signaling him to 'just tell her'

"Ray and I.. can't bear to tell them, they love Mama too much."

"But, you told Don and Gilda! They too love Mama!" Emma protested at Norman's statement, which made Ray place a strong grip on Emma's shoulder "Then why don't you tell them?" Ray scowled; shoving Emma out of the way, leaving Norman and Emma dumbfounded in the library.

Emma and Norman shared a glance before they left without even exchanging a single word to each other.

"Everyone, [ Name ] is getting adopted!" A nervous yet excited smile was plastered on your lips. The younger kids heard the announcement and immediately came rushing to hug you; even though they were really short and only could hug your legs.

"[ Name ] don't leave!"

"I don't want [ Name ] to go.."

The sight in front of you was pitying to say the least yet it made you want stay; however even if you wanted to stay, you couldn't.

"Yeah, I.. promise I'll send everyone lots of letters." Ray clenched his fist tightly, mumbling incoherent words.

"Alright everyone, sit down and we'll have breakfast." You sat down beside Ray as usual; however you couldn't help but notice the fear, anger, and sadness on his face.

You felt somehow guilty, even when it's not your fault at all. You decided to give him some space and not talk to him yet, maybe it was the best for both him and you.

"Mama, I need to talk to you." Isabellla's lips curled up into a grin as she carefully puts down one of the babies in their crib.

Isabella and Ray walked side by side on their way to Isabella's office. Ray couldn't help but glare at her, and Isabella only smiles in-responds; it only made Ray angrier by the second.

"What.. was that about?! I thought we made a deal." Isabella chuckled and went up behind him, getting a firm grip on Ray's shoulders "In life, you either get betrayed or betray other people." that was the only words she could say to Ray.

Ray slapped her hands away from his shoulders and rushed out of the room, speechless; how could she do this to him? How could she do this to the one he loves? The questions lingers in his head.

He went to the library to cool his emotions down, only to find you standing in front of him as he opens the library door.

"Ray.. can we talk?" He chuckled bitterly at your request "What is there to talk about?" you widened your eyes and looked down at his hands.

"Let's just.. talk, please?" Ray clicked his tongue out of annoyance and sat on a chair "Make it quick." You hesitantly nodded, taking a seat in front of him.

"So?" you took his hand, intertwining his fingers with your own. He looked at your intertwined hands and then at you.

"Before I leave, I.. I just want to apologize." He scowled and slapped your hands away from his, looking down for a moment before standing up, walking to the other side of the table where you sat at, and just.. looked right into your eyes.

Out of nowhere, he suddenly grabbed your collar, harshly pinning your figure down to the table; making a loud noise in the process.

"Why the hell are you apologizing to me?! I'm the one that's suppose to apologize! I.. I failed to protect you." He slowly lets his emotions drown him out.  Tears were uncontrollably coming out of his eyes.

"Ray.." You slid your palms on his cheeks, making him flinch for a moment; yet not a single word comes out of his mouth.

"I lo-" Ray pulls away, looking down aswell as avoiding that look of yours "Please.. don't- make this harder for me to let you go.." he stood up; however before you could even say a single word, he sprinted out of the room.

"Alright everyone, it's time to say your goodbyes." Isabella announced, having her usual sweet smile plastered on her porcelain skin.

"Goodbye [ Name ]!"

"Don't forget us!"

"Can't they stay a little moreeee...?"

"Make sure to write lots of letters for us!"

"[ Name ], I'm sorry.." Emma wraps her arms around you. You only chuckled in her embrace and only enjoyed her warmth, oh how painful it was to hear you laugh for the last time.

"[ Name ] it's time." You nodded and waved goodbye at everyone happily, it was all so painful but especially for Emma, Norman, Don, and Gilda.

"I'll carry your suitcase for you." You shook your head "You must be tired Mama, I'll carry it on my own." she only nods. You walked beside Isabella, while she was in her own world; singing that same ol' lullaby.

"Mama, will I ever see you again?" She looked at you with a hint of guilt "Unfortunately, no." you looked down at the ground, frowning.

It seemed so fast when you arrived at the gate. You stood there in the darkness, when something closed shut, and realisation came to you, it was the gate "Mama..?" you looked up only to see a terrifiying creature.

You backed away slowly until your back hits the cold hard metal "Mama? Was it all.. damn it." you bit your tongue and threw your suitcase at it. That.. unfortunately did nothing at all.

Your body felt immense pain, it was too unbearable; even though your lower half was basically destroyed, you still had the guts to scream and try to kick it away.

Of course, as expected it did nothing. Back at the house, they were again looking at a window; that was especially positioned to look at the gate, they shared a glance of guilt "We should've.. told them sooner." Ray took a glance and left.
